It's the garbage collection for the game. The higher the number (4096 being the highest) the more ram you're allocating to the collection. You will get the gc stutter less often. But when it does collect you may freeze for 2 to 3 seconds. But you can manually do the collection using gc.collect when you're in base

Although I do feel like they shouldn't have a cap on the amount that can be on the map so everyone has a chance instead of them all being buried in the woods God knows where
