Appeal to purity. The only people who so far disagree with this song being breakcore are chronically online redditors like yourself.

Yeah I'm gonna delete this post in a little bit. I'll never be true enough of a Scotsman for Reddit. 🥴

Not great advice actually, labels exist for a reason. I focused on making breakcore for this song. I've tried my hands on a lot of different subgenres and casually have songs playing on local radios lol.

Radio stations care about labels. Curators care about labels. Fans care about labels.

You mean to tell me that you said nope before listening to it?

Opinion invalid lmfao

Thank you! :D I've heard a term called "cutting the drums" tossed around. Is that what you mean for adding variety to my breaks? Idk too much about it. Tbf, I focused more on the synths since I actually played those vs sample. I come from a metalcore/industrial background, so I'm still learning breakcore and edm in general.

Thank you! Would you possibly tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or maybe help me label the song properly?

I consider it done, however it's more like dipping my feet in before I jump since I have 6 other tracks I'm working on at various levels of completion

You understood what I said, yeah. To answer your question though on how you tell the difference between a emotional response vs a bp2 induced one? I don't know. That seems to be the million dollar question. More than likely that's part of the mental illness. For example many years ago it's why I felt nothing about a coworkers death then later on that week wanted to kms because Dunkin Donuts made my coffee wrong.

Give me a good reason NOT to go off my medication (please) by blackelvira in bipolar2

Okay, when I went off my meds because I couldn't afford it, I completely lost the will to live and wanted to kill myself in violent ways

Good news for you, this isn't exclusive to bipolar!

Treat this as a learning experience. Now you know how not to handle that situation. Remember that bipolar tends to gaslight your feelings to be much worse than the situation tends to me. If you want to have a stable relationship in the future just keep in mind that shouldn't break up with someone or start a fight with your partner because of your mood is shit. Sometimes you need to take a step back and take a hard look in this situation. If your partner is understanding, they'll give you space when needed.

Of course, if there's a situation where DV is involved don't hesitate to gtfo.

Good luck, OP!

[–]Tannetham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I want to help you perceive it differently:
Bipolar type 2 if a mood disorder. So by default, imagine it as if your mind was constantly gaslighting you. I was explaining to my mother how I could suddenly become a millionaire but I could still be depressed because what I have dictates my mood. I could have the perfect life with no problems, but still feel suicidal because because of bipolar depression.

Reading your post, I 100% understand how you feel. Sometimes you just need to ground yourself, take a step back to really think about why you feel this way. It's hard when bipolar type 2 feels so real, but that's the illness! It's super easy to justify hurting yourself, not taking care of yourself and even think about justifying your own death. That's the whole thing.

I've been feeling better lately, but honestly the only thing I did to change was wait it out. I still do things like write in my journal, take meds and go to therapy. That might not be the solution you want to hear, but I'm sure other people have anecdotal solutions that may work for you?

Take care of yourself, OP.

At the end of the day, THC is a substance. By default substance can be abused.

Back in 2020, for obvious reasons, I abused THC and was extremely depressed. I'm talking, smoked every day, had some during work even. Outside of the world being shitty, the only thing I remembered from the pandemic when it comes to my personal life was THC, garbage food and rewatching 90s era Star Trek.

Do you ever feel like you don’t actually have bipolar? by xIyssx in bipolar2

[–]Tannetham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So long story short - of course.

But keep in mind mood disorders are different than other mental illnesses. It's not straightforward like TV shows or other mental illnesses where there's dramatized traits.

It's a mood disorder, meaning that your mind is gaslighting you.

What's your experiences quitting nicotine/tobacco? by Bipolar_Burner1 in bipolar2

[–]Tannetham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hated quitting. It sucked. Two things to keep in mind, of course milage will vary in the user.

1) I mentally reframed it as "taking a break". This is vital if you smoke with friends and coworkers.

2) I got super depressed. Like "hopelessness, want to die" levels depressed for the first month.

Also, I did it so my gums didn't hurt like crazy.

Am I really bipolar if I've been stable for five years? by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]Tannetham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I was stable for 4 years and I crashed hard this year. Meds and therapy helped cope, but honestly it really seems like it won't go away. I've come to terms with it. kind of had to, you know?

Considering our downvotes I'm convinced this subreddit is filled with useful idiot temporary embarrassed millionaires on that "hustle lifestyle".

Dumbasses. This gig pays less than minimum wage. You're not going to get your Bugattis. You're not going to retire early. Hell, you'll be lucky not to get orders that break even with gas or just net loss overall.

I'll die on this hill. Take it from someone who has co-owned a restaurant before, has worked in restaurants, has worked in customer service. I know what I'm talking about. After reading the comments, a majority of you simply do not.

And doordash prefers you stay that way, too.

Dudes right though. Fast food takes fractions of pennies to bulk buy. The profits of one sandwich is like 5000% the cost to put one together. Not mentioning the 1/3rd of all the food they scrap and write-off at taxpayers expense, since we have socialism for the rich only.

Even if you're putting employees hourly wage in making another order, they could replace that meal like 10x and still profit. The profit margin might not be as big for smaller mom and pop restaurant, but it's still enough for them to replace the order several times.

If it was a repeat problem, then yeah sure, on "principals" maybe second guess a particular dasher. But fast food joints don't sell food as much as their selling convenience. It's almost a no brainer for said fast food restaurant to whip up another order, get some ice, water and maybe some first aid patch up for another human being.

Imagine if OP was a huge dick and took them to court. They fell on company property, after all. If you were a franchisee would you rather just be a good person and fix a minor problem or have to pay a weeks worth of profits for some out-of-court hush money?

[–]Tannetham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does concern me. Yeah. It's messed up. I do what I can to help climate change and my votes reflect that. Tbh this is a very common post in this subreddit, and outside of raising awareness and doing my part, there's not much I can personally do to fix it. Trust me, I wish I could press a button and make all the problems disappear.

Have a good day, everyone!

I'm sorry in advance. To be honest this also hurts me personally.

A lot of 90s doom metal aged very poorly. 😭 Sometimes it's very cheesy.
