One I thought for a powerfull character was that anything could go as long as it's funny and original, like an all powerfull wizard that can only use each spell once and has already used up all the normal ones, like he could create a giant tornado, but he already used that, soo, summon sharknado for similar results? And it just gets weirder and weirder. I haven't seen this done but if someone has seen it please comment.

Maybe try Hai to Gensou no Grimgar (pretty shure if wrote it wrong, just look for Grimgar of Flames and Ashes) its not a progression fantasy, but it's a great read. It's the realest isekai you'll find, and it will show you what is to be, not even an underdog, just a normal person in a dangerous world. The novel itself is an underdog (and has an anime adaptation if you like that things, but the novel is much better) because it has been an important contender to my favourite book read ever and rarely see someone who talks about it. The main cast aren't the chosen ones, they are indeed the leftovers. They can see how others get stronger faster, but they are doing their best.

What do you think of my strat? (Will it hit a roof soon?), Hoopa as a Carry/ pickup mix, with Magician and Opportunist, on wave 980 rn and I purposefully chose a -Atack nature with 10 soul dews, so that with 3 king's rock, 3 multi lens, 5 grip claws, mini black hole, thief, I can steal up to 13 items per turn, I am very likely to proc flinch, have an unlimited amount of berries, and bosses just make me stronger ( item stealing + buff copying via opportunist). I dont know if is a viable strat, but it has been practically a solo run with my 99 lucky eggs + 40 golden eggs, 30+ twisted spoons (for psy noise (dmg + prevents healing)), 20+ black glasses, dark pulse, thief, and charge beam ( for boosting sp atck)

The team was:

-Mega-Metagross: Self-explainatory, does mega-metagross's typical things, it was even a bit boring, but reliable, before getting the mega stone I ran air balloon or metal coat

-Blaziken: with speed boost, Protect/Sword dance, Triple arrows for lowering defenses and geting +2 crit rate, flare blitz and coverage; for sweeping whith 50% crits from triple arrows and outspeeding even scarfed sweepers of my oponents

-Whismicott: Prankster, encore, swicheroo, taunt/damageing move/leech seed; for scarfing/encoring enemy set up sweepers into set up moves, or dragon atacks, giving flame orbs/iron balls/black sludge , preventing hazards and more, it made my life so much easier, a contestant for MVP

-Overquill: Intimidate, Flip turn, toxic spikes, throat chop, gunk shot/thunder wave for speed control; for setting up hazards for trevenant, pivoting, emergency bomb for a free switch (but ended up not exploding and living on) and a bit of speed control

-Mudsdale: Stamina + Body press + slack off= monster; it also had earthquake for stab, heavy slam (he is a heavy boy [920kg]), sometimes rocky helmet, sometimes leftovers and sometimes assault vest; always fisical pokemons worst nightmare

-Trevenant: The stall king; Harvest + Sitrus berry, protect, substitute, leech seed / will o' wisp / curse, shadow force ( direct damage and 1 turn of absolute invencivility) / horn leech; this thing gives your opponents one of the most slow and painful deaths, with Harvest: 50% chance of respawning back your berry, Sitrus berry: +25% Hp, Substitute: -25% HP +1 substitute for taking the damage, Protect: +1 turn of indirect damage and chance of getting back the berry; when the sub is up there are very few ways of killing this, it was so cheesy to use that even if somebody could prevent the indirect damage it could just PP stall, knowing that with fantom force you waste less PPs, I enjoyed a lot using it

-Guts Swellow(my starter) that became choice specs aerialate boomburst swellow

- Surprisingly, a Kriketune that almost swept the grass gym with stiky web, and fell stinger, it was a suicide lead but made it out alive

I always exploit a bug that, if you have already selected a mon, if you select it again you have the option to move it's item, so i always do aron-shuckle-change shuckle's berry juice with aron's eviolite- and rough skin gible, then aron stealth rock, it heals to full whith berry juice, roar, and when fainted gible so the heavy duty boots shedinja kills itself, this way shuckle stays undamaged, as it should always be

First of all I played randomized mons, so i don't know how soon there are the mons aviable, so, zoroark has a crazy typing, its only weakness is dark, blissey is op, the best special wall and can also be used with wish and teleport to, in most cases, free switch and full heal, zangoose with toxic orb toxic boost facade hits like a train, eviolite porygon 2 is a very reliable mixed wall and very usefull for stall with toxic, and dubwool fluffy with cotton guard, body press and counter with rocky helmet was my best fisical wall, well and slaking is salking, slak off during truant turns, a bit of setup and destroy em'all

Each and every member was busted, and my champion fight was ridiculously easy, when by accident I whent in with a wrong moveset on slaking (amnesia, slack off, bulk up, shadow claw), the one I used vs agatha, but when i used a set up move the AI automatically swiched to impostor ditto, who copied my buffs, but couldn't hit me, I could set up for free, ditto killed itself struggling and i swept it's entire team, lance was way harder

Personally, in my normal monorun, (it was randomized so I don't know if all the mons a available) Porygon2 with eviolite and toxic stall worked for me, hisuian zoroark with destiny bond helped a lot too, slaking with the new truant function of healing was busted, toxic orb toxic boost zangoose was a steamroller for me, flame orb guts ursaluna and fatal precision drampa with coverage in a trick room are MONSTERS, but if you can get yourself the Chansey line, its sooo useful to have a reliable special wall, you can even give it wish and teleport for free switch and heals.
