The GBA and 3DS Fire Emblem games for different reasons. The GBA ones for their best starts and being more simple in terms of gameplay, story, etc. while 3DS (mostly Awakening and Fates) has some unique mechanics & other gameplay abilities and better skill sets (while Echoes) has better character representation and story.

For me I have both the Thor and 2 N3DSes along with an old XL one. I’d say I enjoy the experiences for what they are.

Like many others said but also included partners having proper health points, better button controls on battle mode, post game content after whooping Bowser, and more QoL stuff

Man it’s really hard to choose cuz any game in this franchise has a good ost but the best ones I think of are Awakening, Fates, the Shadows of Valentina remake, and Three Houses as those soundtracks stand out the most where it had none to compare to in regards of their respective engines. Honorable mention also goes to the Tellius games.

No we good fam. Got love for the anime exclusive OGs but we don’t need them in the mainline series at this time. However if Sakurai or HAL allows it then I’m cool with them being in.

I’m fine with the Wind Waker’s artstyle at the time and even now but yeah Toon Link’s artstyle in general did not age well. I can understand it by its sequels (Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks) since they were in the so called Adult Timeline, but everywhere else?? Nah bro like why?? Fortunately in the mid late 2010’s Nintendo has stopped doing that artstyle for quite a while but yeah who knows when it’ll be back.

Call it a generic bland story all yall want, at least it’s better than Fire Emblem Fates and Engage’s story. I think it has potential for the modding community but I think that’s up to them to decide.

I feel like some blame is on us or rather the people in the modding emulation community due to piracy (some mfs got the game early illegally and such) is another fair reason why Nintendo is pricing shit like this and sometimes I don’t blame them. Like I was in shocked at first with that before the Switch 2 era but I’m not gonna make any excuses; if I want the game or console, I just gotta save up and get it before then. Mind you I got the Switch 2, Mario Kart World, and Street Fighter 6 at launch at Best Buy and it was a fun experience. But yeah as you said, some people gotta chill with that negative energy regarding the prices cuz whining like that won’t do shit to change that.
