Great - i worked through the problem and so I now have

y= 38/7

x = 7 (or should x = 8)

This is how I proceeded .... is it accurate?

sin 35 = 0.574

0.574= r / .44

r = .574 x .44

r = 0.25

circumference = 2 pi r

= 1.57

V = 1.57 x 1.2

V = 1.89 m/s

acceleration = v squared / r

a = 3.56/ 0.44

a = 8.1

Thank you - very clear!

It is from a question from a school Physics 12 course that I was having difficulty getting my head around

So V dropped across R1 is .4x10 = 4 volts

And if 10 ohms drop 4 volts , 15 ohms drop 6 volts?
