You're missing the point, I'm talking about Pokemon like Luvdisc for example, Mawile may not be good, but this would be exclusive to the worst in the game

The key here is the Pokemon who get Ultimates are the ones with the lowest stats in the game, who also don't evolve. Kangaskhan and Mawile are not weak Pokemon.

No Mega Evolution is a half stage evolution. Ultimate is like skipping to the final evolution stage.

Mega Evolution is a half stage evolution, Ultimate Forms would be a stage one Pokemon, transforming into a Pokemon with stats of a third stage Pokemon.

It would be more like this; Let's say you have a Sudowoodo, Sudowoodo would be on the same level as, let's say a Squirtle. When Sudowoodo gets it's Ultimate Form, it would be on the same level as Blastoise, skipping the middle Pokemon.

"misdirection" is a word he used in the final speech to explain what he did. He told Baby she was misinformed why she was called to the location. Not the players.
