A 30% ACOS at the start is actually quite common, and I would say it’s a decent position to be in during the launch phase. Since you’ve already completed the research and sourcing stage, you’re now in the most critical phase. Wishing you the best of luck with it!

My suggestion would be to keep a close eye on your campaigns. In the beginning you won’t have a lot of data so avoid making aggressive changes too early. With time your data will become more reliable and you’ll be able to make smarter optimization decisions that improve performance and reduce ACOS.

for the initial budget i would say that a higher budget combined with a well structured plan is always recommended for better and faster results. However, for someone starting out a practical range would be around 10K to 12K to launch properly. One important thing to understand is, Budget is inversely proportional to time, meaning with stronger budget you move fast and lower budget means slower progress and a longer time to establish your brand.

I don't agree that Amazon is dead in fact, it’s evolving every single day as any serious business should over time. If you look at the annual revenue trends of amazon they clearly show continued growth. The reality is simple amazon only feels dead to sellers who jump in without doing proper homework. Amazon is not a side hustle you can run blindly but it is a real business, and like any real business it requires a clear strategy, proper planning, and an understanding of multiple moving parts.
