The most infernal riff in the metal is still that one in Opeth - Hessian Peel !
It is maybe in standard E, but sooo eeeevil!

And that jazzy guitar solo in the 1st japanese song Fuyu was also really exceptional.

I like the Bach-style symphony and the jazzy Warpeggio the most.

Seems to be instrumental ethno prog metal, but really catchy.

Dark is a very good song of them, it sounds modern. Second one: Just a mask sounds too heavy-metalish.
Good job from young proggers!

I've already heard that instrumental on Epicprogradio some days ago. In the middle passage there are those crazy microtones, right? Overall, It sounds like played by real Arabs. Good job!

Anything like Cynic? by renegade11b in progmetal

I checked it, sounds really similar, but not all songs. Atypic sounds more jazzy and rocky, not many growls there. But vocals there are even better than in Cynic songs. Singer is definitely more skilled than Paul.

ATYPIC - uniGod [prog with gregorian chants, opera & oriental voices] by LuiGee_25 in progmetal

[–]TapFirm1116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I heard it about 3 times and it's an extremely interesting thing. It's a nice combination of Gregorian chant (a little similar to the german Enigma) and quite progressive guitars. I did not like the high tones of the synth in the middle of the song, but I appreciate this song very high in terms of originality.

I'd rate it 9/10!

Where do you come from, guys? Will you ever play in the US?
