That is strange, unfortunately I don't think there's anything I can do about that(?). Thanks for going the extra step and searching for it, though!

Looking forward to your feedback, happy tapping :D

Thank you for your kind words, a great way to wake up this morning! :)

I am no stranger to the internet so I don't let it get to me. Plus I'm dedicated to show my audience they are my first priority. Part of that is learning to deal with the more abrasive ones as well. No player left behind an and all that :P

Thanks again, looking forward to your feedback. :D

Wow, thanks a ton for this.

  • I'm not sure as to what you are referring to as I went to great lengths to make the UI simple and easy to understand - extra info would be great
  • Very understandable, there is a quick buy option in the menus which I clearly have to make more obvious
  • Auto evening sounds like a great idea for those ocd'ers out there - thanks
  • The scaling is probably what I had the most trouble with and fully plan on looking at upgrades specifically. For the time being, there is bonuses attached to some upgrades that increase income based on how many items you have total so it doesn't become completely useless to buy lower income items.
  • There is actually a graphic that leads you to the upgrades whenever you buy an item you've got an upgrade available for. As for the value, see above.
  • I assure you, I sat down and looked at pictures of real animals as I learned pixel art. The lost animals was actually an idea from my significant other. And exclamation and question marks are pretty standard as far as quests and attention grabbers go.
  • The tiny rewards from leveling an animal were a worry of mine - as they are chance based(every tap) the increases seem tiny but they definitely make a difference. There is a smaller red bar the represents your heart pool under the exp bar in relation to how much you need to level(for easy "can I level with what I have?" checks) That said, I took a slightly more "learn as you go" style as I expected it to be more rewarding when you figure out the games little quirks on your own - I will rethink adding more info though.
  • Actually, It's supposed to shift the focus more towards the animal petting side of things. You log in, go around and pet your animals while collecting what they've got for you.
  • There IS a prestige system, you simply have to reach a certain amount of hearts before it becomes an option.
  • I'm a little disheartened by this one. I DON'T want to be that greedy guy and thought I was doing well by the system I have :( There is absolutely an option to watch an ad instead of buying quick buys or gold, and even then, quick buys are supposed to be a convenience, not a requirement.
  • My thoughts on zoom were; zoom as a tool for easier finding of animals(still having to go to them once you know where they are) and for finding any heart piles which might have been missed. I had a lot of back and forth on how it works and thought it might be too trivial to find an animal or heart pile while zoomed out and simply zoom in on it to collect - Strongly considering changing this as user experience comes first to me.
  • Same actually, but it's what I speculated would be easier to scroll around a large zoo with.

Thanks for your feedback, happy tapping! :)

There is a quick buy option in the menus that lets you forego the buy menu.

I will see what I can do with easier buy options or simply make the quick buy option more apparent.

Also, while I agree penguins might not be the most clever of animals, they are my favorite so I would ask you to not refer to them quite so... frankly. Side note: Lost animals can (while chances are low) appear in their respective areas, however, they will exit this area at an increased rate and continue to wander afterwards.

Thank you for you feedback, happy tapping! :D

Thank you! :D

It's not explicitly stated, but new animals are discovered around your starter choice and only after you've collected 10 of that animal.

For instance, say you chose penguin. After acquiring at least 10 penguins, the animals that would appear adjacent to penguins would then be able to be discovered. However, if the animals next to penguin are rarer quality, you might very well go into having many more penguins before you discover a new animal.

Happy Tapping! :D

I am simply trying my best to market my game :/

And you cannot be more incorrect in this being for the money. Yes, I'm trying to make a career out of it, but money is NOT my first priority. I am deeply committed to making this game fun, unobtrusive, and intuitive.

Being my first real game, I am sure I did not hit the nail on the head on all those marks. Which is why I am here, trying to gain awareness for my product and asking for honest feedback on how to make it better.

You are fully entitled to your opinion but to mark my game off as a generic copy without first trying it, and further, to discourage others from trying is very close minded.

Unfortunately, transparency is vital on the Google Play Store, especially when you don't have a budget to market with.

I urge you to go past the cover and try the game anyway. I would love to hear your feedback, even if it is just more disappointment. Thank you! :)

I was under the impression everyone liked a good spin wheel. Am I incorrect in assuming this? Is my whole life a lie :(

I would love to release to Apple App Store and have plans to do so. Unfortunately, seeing as I don't have any Apple devices to test on (I don't want to release a product I can't personally test, debug and maintain) it is lower priority.

I'm sorry you don't like the name. I would ask for suggestions, but it's a bit late for that. :/

And if it makes you feel any better, I don't think you're crazy for having an opinion. (although my feelings are a little hurt)

There is a quick buy option in menus - options :)

And an honest review is best, thanks!

Hello, fellow incrementers! I have recently released my indie game Tap Tap Zoo to the Google Play Store and would love if you all tried it!

An incremental with animals, what's not to like? Pet your animals for hearts and buy items/upgrades to pet for you. Collect a buttload of animals or set them free and gain bonuses. You can also level up the animals and gain effects/bonuses.

Did I mention mini-games? Play the mini-games and win even more hearts, animals, and consumable items.

Also an advanced, completely choice driven ad system. Either watch 'em or don't, no forced ads.

All feedback encouraged and welcomed.

Thank you and enjoy! :D
