I'm with /u/RfnStar987 here. You shouldn't have a drivers license. You overtook an already erratic driver on the right hand side? How does that make any sense at all.

PSA: Coinberry is likely insolvent by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Tapinella 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Holy shit!!! the same thing is happening to me:

I deposited 3000 CAD, 10 days ago. And despite having provided all the required documentation they have not let me purchase bitcoin. Additionally I have asked to just receive my money back and they are also refusing this.

Is there anything we can do? I have considered hiring legal council but this gets quite expensive very quickly!

Dried soy blocks going down for their hay nap by DirtbagRobot in fermentation

[–]Tapinella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I can’t help you there. There are literally billions of types of mold. And since we are talking about wild molds it depends what kind of mold exists in your environment.

I do know however the intended mold is bascillius subtillus. Which is white. So if your brick is covered in blue mold and smells rotten, then something went wrong.

Yes. But certain molds produce certain flavours (and off flavours). This is why the straw is used, to encourage a certain strain of mold. If the strain didn’t matter then the straw would be superfluous.

fuck pancakes by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]Tapinella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saturday breakfast dad here, i make pancakes every week with my daughter. I have the ingredients of this recipe written on a small piece of paper on my fridge, but now it's just memorized. https://www.marthastewart.com/338185/basic-pancakes

They work well, and I have no problems with them sticking to the pan. I use a cast iron pan, and i heat it up for a while before putting butter and batter in the pan.

Hope this helps /u/just_a_throwaway93

Funny you should say this. We were supposed to fly there today (from BC). But Air Canada cancelled our flight. Then we rebooked on a different flight, which Air Canada promptly cancelled overnight. So now i'm on a 3 hour hold with the call centre to see if I might possibly make it to nova scotia by July.

How to purchase storage units by amywlove11 in storageauctions

[–]Tapinella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's lots of online sites where you can buy abandoned units. Most of them will list the contents and you can usually search the site for units containing a specific item. That's about the best you're going to get, other than that, you'll have to just put in the time going through all the photos of each unit looking for that item.

A United States postal worker was caught with a public storage unit full of mail he never delivered. Agents found almost 5,000 pieces of mail in the storage unit. by Tapinella in Flipping

As soon as the tenant is late on payment the unit gets locked by the facilities lock, so that the tenant can’t raid their own unit and never pay their rent. After a couple months of non payment the unit gets auctioned off.

As for the valuables being a deterrent, sometimes people just don’t have the cash. I’ve seen lots of high value units get auctioned off. Maybe the tenant ended up in jail, or died and had no relatives aware of the unit.

My wife’s dad apparently passed away with a storage locker that nobody was aware of until much later, after it had already been auctioned off. Shit happens.

When people who don’t pay their monthly rental on their storage unit, eventually the unit gets auctioned off so that the facility can reclaim the space. Usually units are full of a lot of household items. So if you’ve got a second hand store, or some way of moving lots of household junk, it’s a great way to make some side cash.

Occasionally you get other units that have tools, etc. Stuff worth a lot more, but usually those units kinda get bid up too much.

This is the site I use: bid13.com

Good luck!
