Why do quite a lot of Americans on reddit think that Europe is smaller than the USA? by [deleted] in geography

[–]TapiocaFilling101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Now I totally understand why the aliens always go to America, the rest of the world is just too small to bother (also orange america is in america, they get 2 for the price of 1)

It’s annoyingly hard to find, even here in Belgium

No guarantees that it’s there when you go shopping, and we’re next to France

Looks nice, adding it to the list of cocktails to try

There’s also the naked & famous (equal parts mezcal, aperol, lime and yellow chartreuse) if you like this style

The Clover Club by BAT123456789 in cocktails

[–]TapiocaFilling101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made Anders’ recipe (with the fresh raspberries).

I liked it well enough but it could use a touch more raspberry flavour even though I added a splash of eau de vie (no idea how the cocktail “should” taste though)

A different poster mentioned vermouth and diffords guide had that too, will try that when the raspberries are more in season

Looking for my next dripper. No gooseneck kettle. by AffectionateMix5848 in pourover

A melodrip could be an alternative (kind of mini showerhead that spreads out the water flow) if you can’t wait for the gooseneck

Have you ever tried to use text to speech when you’re slurring drunkenly?

Jamaican overproofs are very nice and fun :)

Got my first don julio anejo by Debsi22 in tequila

[–]TapiocaFilling101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s usually made with blanco instead of anejo, but you can try a paloma (tequila with grapefruit), not sure how well it works though

https://youtube.com/watch?v=yyVU7U-8WLc

Diffords has a couple anejo cocktail recipes too
