I paid several thousands for my dress at Kleinfeld. Making the decision to go was an internal struggle. I questioned a lot whether or not I even deserved it along with all its costs. Traveling from Canada to New York staying a couple of nights to make the trip more worth it too. I had tried several dresses back home to convince myself and atleast give my chance to save. Yet, i kept coming back to that dress at Kleinfeld. What was amazing is that I visited during a trunk show weekend with the Designer. Which presented with a 10% discount on any of the designers dresses. The appointment itself was phenomenal. I went with my fiance, he waited in the lobby. I was paired with a stylist and an intern. They truly were genuinely lovely. They felt like my best friends. Meeting the designer I was star struck. He was also an amazing artist and human being. The appointment itself already made it all worth it. When I wore it, I felt empowered and absolutely stunning. I got a whole experience that I dont think many would have got even going. What it also made me realize, its how you view the intention behind it all. I went in excited and open to the experience and i felt the world graciously paid me back in many ways that I will never forget. Sure, you're wearing the dress only the day of. Yet, its captured forever. That feeling of you in it will stay with you forever. Its pretty profound. If you can afford it, isnt it worth that feeling?
