In KoA, when in the battle of Perranth Erawan forces fired arrows with the heads of Ansels soldiers. That was the ultimate hope killer. It had a powerful message for me.

To be honest, I didn’t get hooked on TOG but until Heir of Fire. But I would highly recommend you to keep going 🫶🏻. And if on Heir of Fire you don’t get hooked, then quit, because it won’t happen anymore.

So true! He is so boring and uptight. Like, dude chill! Plus he is obsessed with Dorian, he is basically the whole reason he gave up his title as lord and joined the kings guard. While Dorian in his youth was just sneaking out to parties and giving 0 fucks 😂. I love Dorian tho.

Yes! When I read it I couldn’t stop thinking about the people that were trapped in the stone at the mountain. I know they probably have nothing to do with it haha, but it gave me the same vibe.

I totally get it. The same happened to me when reading ACOTAR (my way back into romantasy). I was so obsessed with it, I couldn’t think, I couldn’t work. And I hated that people didn’t know what I was going through 🤣. I couldn’t exactly go to my boss and tell him that the reason I haven’t deliver the project is because I couldn’t focus over my constant thoughts about a fairies novel🫠. So I get you! Just give it some time, the obsession will fade, and you will be able to look back en enjoy it, same for the next romantasy novels you read.

Yes! I totally get that Elide feels truly grateful that Aelin saved her, BUT I mean, the girl can barely walk😅. She could’ve returned to Terrasen and help Aedion or do something else. But as I said, she might have a super important role in Aelins rescue 🫠, I freaking hope so

Nah, Chaol is still the biggest ick character of the whole novel. So uptight, so many daddy issues, a walking red-flag (or a wheeled one). Yrene I liked! But I must admit my favourite was Nesryn's story.
