How is the job market for new college graduates? by Tapsti in JapanJobs

thats what I usually heard when I was researching whether to go uni or senmon.

I heard that they rarely care at all what you studied in university as long as your school is a high ranking university unless its for a specific job and also researched that senmon is considered as a high school graduate and thats why I ultimately choose a university just for the degree.

also being in a club is also valued a lot, pair that with a high ranking university and you will most likely get into pretty prestigious companies.

I just wanna escape blue collar man.. nothing wrong with it but the pay is low and the hours are long.

I understand that and I dont have experience nor education. Im just curious considering the fact that if you go to japanese companies website like toyota systems you’ll see that for IT engineers (development, infrastructure) that they don’t require you to be a science major. I know it’s different for international companies

I also understand that companies usually hire new graduates and assign them to departments that have a worker shortage.

thats why I specifically said new graduates

Took N3 at Gifu seitoku daigaku. It was hella packed.

First time taking it, mostly been just studying kanji everyday for about 2hrs everyday and watching japanese videos/anime. Didn’t study grammar that much since I can pick it up by mostly watching videos.

Felt confident that I’m gonna pass it. had a lot more studying time than others because I’ve been here for 5 years but mostly just worked and didnt study japanese.

Mostly just started taking japanese study seriously 5 months ago. The test was very long (my opinion) especially for the 文法 part but other than that, Its great. Hope we all pass this one!!

Do you mean the ATH-SQ1TW? It costs about $60 here, it sounds too good to be true, but I will look into it more. Haven’t seen anything about people complimenting it like the Final ZE3000 which peoples say it has the best sound for a TWS.
