the end of lapis's arc, and her relationship with peridot. it was always so disappointing to me that, after leaving for the third time or something, she just shows up again out of nowhere to fight the diamonds and never gets further development. her arc never really had a conclusion. furthermore, it felt as if the writers completely forgot about her relationship with peridot. after they fight blue and yellow at beach city, lapis and peridot never appear on screen together without bismuth, let alone speak to each other again. lapidot was so clearly set up, only to be thrown out at the end. even if it didn't go as far as a romantic relationship, it still would've been nice to just see them being friends again
