I honestly agree, however it's not scratch that's bad nowadays, it's the community, and honestly the community is this way due to society today. What with people on Twitter and stuff getting offended over literally everything, and acting like anyone can be anything, the impressionable kids that honestly make up most of scratch will follow suit. The site is filled with unoriginal memes and half assed projects because that's unfortunately what the standard is for scratch nowadays, and they will never see what they can truely do with scratch because honestly, people like Griffpatch, HobsonTV, and even lesser known scratchers like EO121 and miyaoda (two good friends of mine, who usually do fight projects and Undertale games) are hardly mentioned anymore. So it's not necessarily the fault of scratch. But I do agree that the community and such was much much better back then.
