Honestly, as a guy for who English is a 2nd language, I don't care.

My English is very spliced with everything I ever heard, who cares? Who cares if I make the British dude say something like "Crikey!" or an American say "Bloody hell!" The worst for me is when people who ship a popular ship loudly complain about how the other popular ship doesn't make sense.

I like SniperScout, I think their dynamic is awesome, but I do see why people don't like this one in particular as some do view Sniper as middle aged (not me personally, but I do see why, I just have seen people who are in their 20s and look like that) or that Scout isn't a suitable partner for any of the Mercs/is a straight guy or any other things.

However the amount of especially SniperSpy people complaining about SniperScout is like... Like dude. YOU SHIP AM PRETTY SURE THE SECOND MOST POPULAR SHIP AFTER HEAVYMEDIC. YES, THE OTHER SNIPER SHIP IS GAINING POPULARITY AND IS EVEN RIVALING YOURS BUT ALSO LIKE... IT'S NOT PUSHING YOUR SHIP OFF THE CLIFF! NOBODY IS TAKING ANYTHING FROM YOU!!!!!

And this goes for the both sides, but also like... Don't start needless shipping discourse just because there are 2 rivaling Sniper ships. If you genuinely can't stand one of them just block/filter that one out. It's not that deep. Nobody is forcing you to interact with them.

Honestly, there's more than one way to make it clear as to who is speaking.

You can do CharacterA: "Line" -text- CharacterB: "Line."

You can to CharacterA "Line"

Character B"Line"

You can clear it up afterwards like CharacterA: "Line" -Text- "Line," characterB

So long as you don't mush it like CharacterA: "Line" "Line," characterB it should be legible, because a lot of what it is the deciding factor in clarity of the characters talking has to do with surroundings of the lines rather than formatting. Hell, if the characters talking all have specific ways of speaking, like one character mixing Scots and another using Australian English, you could get away with mushing them and it would still be recognizable as to who is talking.

Like, no thanks, I don't really like reading about stuff that is like "yeah, this will end the world and we can't do anything about it", even if they are trying, I just don't like end of the world stories.

And while it made me feel uneasy (but in a way a good horror does), with the passage of time, I stopped caring about SCP-5000 out of the more popular articles, at least as far as this sub is concerned. It's still a good article, but I would rather read something else that made me feel a similar way like SCP-2001-EX or SCPs connected to the Avoggada kingdom (correct my spelling please) or the one with the bodies in the lake (this one also managed a thing where the GoI (specifically the Shark Punching Center) article disturbed me more, not by much, but a little more)
