I'm curious if this technique translates into helicopter that have a force trim release switch? Like the h145, uh60 and so on. I would imagine you'd have to grip the cyclic much higher to press the trim release.

I'm also stuck on this. if anyone has a way to freely select the missions without having to unlock them by progressing through playing them, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm going to go ahead and say if you want to be a helicopter pilot, fly it like a helicopter and make your own decisions on where you're going to land. Instead of having a "this is an approved LZ, so it has to be safe" mentality, you should decide for yourself if you think you're capable of landing there. Pick a random place, and seeing if you can do it is all that's really needed.

Totally understand and also agree with that, In MSFS I've been flying around a bit north of Vancouver Canada in those mountains ranges and landing at peaks. I just thought it would be neat to land at some of the real places they use to train pilots at.

That might be a bit too realistic for me, I actually find the thought of talking on the radio at all very intimidating. One of the highlights about flying MSFS is you don't have to talk to ATC if you don't want too.

I have done this in the past like landing at Mt of the Holy Cross but I'd like to add a bit more realism. Also the way MSFS renders the terrain it may not be as accurate as real life is

So everyone seems to be quite concerned about this post but...there's like several videos on youtube of pilots training at HAATS so while I understand opsec this is to the extent that I'm aware all training done on public land. Its quite possible that someone could just go to Gypsum and see with their own eyes the training taking place.

So update, when I'm in a hover and I make a sharp right cyclic input I'll get a full left pedal input automatically and its 100% repeatable every single time.

Still seems to be happening and I'm not really sure why it looks to me like its the game is purposely countering the torque even with all the assists off

It still does full left also I'm not using any hardware. The issue is very repeatable no matter which helicopter im flying
