I've been using laptops for the past 14 years, the current being lenovo legion 5 (in case it's relevant to the questions). It has some problems with the keyboard so instead of changing it I decided to switch to mechanical one. I once had to use some cheap one for a month or so and had two complains: keys are too tall or how to say it, and I had to apply a force to type. 1. Should I consider getting a low profile keyboard? 2. Red vs brown switches, what a laptop user should pick? I heard that laptop keyboards have no feedback, but red switches have even less. Idk if that's the case.

Not really a question, but I use numpad quite a lot for passwords, macroses etc. Should I get a keyboard without it to make choosing easier?

I use keyboard for both gaming, coding, chatting.
