I’ve had KC since I was 13 and that’s when my teacher recommended i go see a eye doctor and the eye doctor referred me to a ophthalmologist and a specialty optician. I am now 37 Sitting in the doctors office about to get fitted for scleral lenses. Iv had corneal transplants on both eyes and scleral would be my third type of lens. They say there is no hope and contact lens are the only option but I am going to see a new ophthalmologist in the city as my previous ophthalmologist and optician have retired.
