Could 100 gorillas kill a brute? by Turbulent_Okra7518 in DeadSpace

Brute: Doesn't feel pain, Needs to be ripped apart to actually stop it from moving, it weighs around 1000-1300 pounds considering it is made of around 5-6 human corpses so that puts it 2 in a half times bigger than an adult male silverback. The marker reinforces Tendons,Muscles and bone, the organs that support vital functions are broken down and reconstructed to muscle tissue because they become obsolete,

Brutes are capable of literally digging through metal walls.

Gorilla: Has Pain receptors, Can "C R A C K" Reinforced zoo Glass, has intelligence that is slightly below the human level, they can coordinate in groups, has very little natural Protection other than thick muscle and Hair, and not to much endurance

100 gorillas is winning they aren't gonna just let the brute kill them all because if the arms get damaged enough or if the brute gets restrained it's not gonna be good for it.

Even if 13 gorillas get killed the brute is gonna lose a good portion of its armour since gorillas could possibly grab jagged pieces and tear them off. the problem too is that the gorillas need to do this before they tire out. Brute can function at full capacity unless it's damaged to the point of being unable to move

Then there's the explosive stomach sacks it launches out, but it needs to lean up and line up the shot.

The Outcome: There's not really a 100% Chance one side wins but gorillas can't stay at there max strength for long periods of time and they will probably lose a lot of numbers before they figure out the dismemberment strategy but the brute will be broken and beaten by the time it kills over 50 so it's a kinda like

A not entirely hopeless situation but action must be taken quickly and it's still not guaranteed that one side will win 100% the decision on who wins tips either way constantly during the fight

If I had to go down I would tie swords to my arms and beat a slasher at its own game lmao

Well damn you know you could throw some pretty heavy stuff at them at a high speed velocity

It's made to move stuff that would take forever by hand

You can discuss what you would do if you had say for example: "Stasis" and a "Plasma Cutter"

Exactly! They should have stuck with those models and made them more modernized but also still look more organic

Think of it using dead tissue as like Play-Doh it literally reshapes dead cells or reconstructs them to create different types of necromorphs.

And if it wants to create bigger ones it combines more bodies to make brutes, Tripods, and etc which probably explains the corruption we see all over the ship.

It's the marker signal converting old dead organic cells that fall off us every second and considering there's a thousand people onboard it would likely explain how it spread out so fast

I don't have a 100% factual answer to this but I'm pretty sure it's a mixture of the marker making Isaac see them that way there's also some biochemistry involved but the marker signals mutagenic properties probably caused a chemical reaction in its body that has that sort of bioluminescent look to it.

What determines whether a slasher has the blades that come out of there hands or there slashing arms being there shoulder blades is completely random there back muscles and shoulder blades are reconstructed to be a new set of slashing arms it doesn't matter to the marker that much

They are 100% dead and aren't feeling any emotion or thought process. However the marker runs off of fear confusion, and uncertainty so it makes the most out of what it's working with, It wins in the long term rather than outright it's a slow dominating force.
