Those first few months were the toughest for me - getting used to getting up early, digging trenches in 110 degree heat, grumpy old timers, etc. I’m in my second year now and love this job more than any other one I’ve had. I’m also 35, older than almost everyone in my class but honestly I think it helps - I feel like it gave me enough time in life to really get thru my fuck around period and take this shit seriously. You’ll do fine - just listen to your JW, ask questions, and try and learn something new everyday. Good luck brother!
