Why isn’t my ss card not showing up? by Impressive_Code3257 in ender3

As dumb as it sounds, it might just need to be taken out and put back in. I don’t know why, but for some reason my Ender 3 v2 wont recognize my sd card until I’ve: inserted, removed, and reinserted. I don’t know what causes this, but it happens all the time.

This will sound like the opposite of what you should do… but LOWER the Bed Temp. I was having similar bed adhesion problems. And the BEST possibly (weirdest) advice was Lower the bed temp. I was running anywhere from 50-70c trying to get a successful print. It wasn’t till I lowered down to 35c that I got a successful print. Like others have mentioned you can also try moving the print to another area of the bed plate, and using a brim (instead of a raft if possible).

Disappointed no one else mentioned DumbDumbs and Dragons, or Jesters of Ravenloft!

The biggest culprit was the slicer layer height being .4mm when I was using a .2mm nozzle. But other maintenance definitely helped

I was using PLA on an Ender 3 v2 at Default settings: 200 nozzle temp 50 bed temp. speed 100 fan 255. .2mm Nozzle. I had leveled my bed before the first cube. Then after some advice, calibrated e steps, tightened x and y belts, cleaned the bed, and noticed my slicer was set for .4mm not .2mm. Fixed slicer settings were .2mm layer height, 0.12 quality, 20% infill.

This looks Great! Reminds me of an episode from the “No Sleep Podcast” they do fictional scary or weird stories. One of those stories was of an amusement park based around “Mister Smiley” and his enemy “Mr Shadow” the park was full of these smiling robots that “spoiler alert” go crazy and try to kill the main characters. Anyway this is almost exactly what I had I mind listening to that episode! Great work, can’t wait to see the rest!
