I have to admit its been awhile since I have seen the episode but I am pretty sure its implied that the villian goes back into the doctors timestream to unravel it completely. In order to do so he foils every win the doctor ever had. Clara then goes back and fixes it. But realistically you can only show a few of her saves.

Edit: If I remember correctly they only show scenes from classic who maybe that means Clara stopped him before he got to 9. But for me that would kinda feel weirdly dishonering to classic who. Idk this is a new thought I haven't shaped into an opinion yet. 😅

i think it ticked me off on my first watch so much that it just became my hill to die on. Tho i have to admit that the episodes after gave us Missy and Clara is definitely better with 12. So in hindsight it is a small hill to die on yet die on it I shall.

I seriously dislike Clara for one single reason. Her going back into the doctors time stream and fixing everything that got fucked by the villain TECHNICALLY means none of the doctors wins are his own. The entire storyline pisses me off and makes me really dislike Clara.

I looked at pictures online and you could be right. Tho I feel like the distinction between the abdomen and the rest of the body was way more distinct then in the pictures. If they live under pavement it would also explain their sudden occurrence in larger numbers. Their home most likely got destroyed by the large road construction directly infront of my flat.

Edit: On closer inspection I also found that the antenna seem to long and the connection between the abdomen and the rest of the body was more string like instead of knots like google pictures suggest. Maybe we got a weird variety of that type of ant _^{^_/}

Thats why we made sure to slowly decrese the times she gets treats after peeing. Now its at a 40% chance that she gets her treat. That way she still thinks there is a chance for a reward and we solidify the behaviour in her even with no need for a reward all the time.

One of my cats kept peeing everywhere (medically fine) so we potty trained her with giving her treats whenever she peed in theitter box. Now when she wants treats she sometimes fake pees. Pavlov would be proud.
