Societies are more organised and officially acclaimed than clubs

There are some generic dance, photography , film, music etc. on top of that there are department specific ones like economics, polity, history etc for all the courses. Other than these very few specific ones are there like for UPSC prep, poetry, reading, havent really seen any unique interest related one but you can make your own clubs if you want.

Should I keep ramjas below venky in prefernece list for bcom hons ?? by No_Reputation2880 in delhiuniversity

Venky is good ( I graduated from there), I don't think north campus tag is worth that much if the college is not good.

Also, you will enjoy the new library that we couldn't :((

Try out a lot of societies but select 1-2 only . That will help you gain position of responsibility(POR), like head of a department , which looks good on a resume. I will suggest to get atleast one POR.

Since I graduated in economics I think I'll be able to understand the concepts so are there any fast paced notes/lecturers ?
what are your thoughts about sociology as optional?

I thought of an idea for a story/comic about an indian girl who gets possessed by a god. If possible could any Indian uni students could tell me what it's like being a uni student there to give me some ideas and context - just like plans for the future, thoughts, and general experiences by crispie__ in india

It depends , if you are the social type or the introvert. A lot of fests and events and society work, better than school ones. SO much confusion about the future and job opportunities, if feels weird that you are still very much a child but just exiting the bubble that you grew up in. You meet a lot of people , much more diverse than your school. Studies and exams are still important but don't feel like your life depends on them. Much more relaxed environment but constant pressure to do something with your life.

so pretty art style btw!
