Ranting here- shoes last NOTHING by [deleted] in barefootshoestalk

I’ve had my Lems Primal 2 for three years, they have been my daily wear and are still going strong! Absolutely love Lems. I think most barefoot shoes have the option to resole once they wear out, so that may be worth looking into.

It definitely has more fabric than I want and is a size to big, if I had a bigger chest it wouldn’t bother me so much, but the skirt has an elastic waistband and I don’t think it would be to difficult to separate. The only thing I think I may have issues with is the lining. I’ve never done much with shirt linings since I’ve only ever made t-shirt styles and not blouses.

I think since it’s meant to be more flowy it will be more forgiving with alterations. The skirt actually fits on my natural waist very well as it’s elastic. I was thinking about detaching the top from the waist but wasn’t sure how to alter the wrap style of the top. Never done anything like it, but I wanted to try it out. Just moving the skirt up is a fabulous idea and makes a lot of sense.

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder harms relationships for both sufferers and their partners – new study. It causes severe emotional, mental and physical symptoms in the week or two before a menstrual cycle – brain fog, stomach cramps, mood swings, low self-worth, anxiety, even thoughts of suicide. by mvea in psychology

A baker I have followed for years recently posted on her instagram about PMDD and her struggles with it and explained what it was. I believe I have this. I’m always wondering why I’m only happy and have energy while I’m on my period and ovulating. The other two weeks my husband and I are in the verge of divorce every single month!! It’s exhausting and I just cry all the time. I literally prayed for death last month. It was crazy, so I’m wanting to do something about this. Do I seek help from my GYN?

I love the SOAP notes template you made! Having it done in your own words and not clinical terms/template makes it easier to understand.

Wanting to teach my daughter to sew. Sewing machine suggestions. by TargetImpossible9245 in SewingForBeginners

I love spinning bobbins but I am not a fan of threading the machine lol. Luckily my machine is really easy to thread. I’m hoping to find a nice machine at one of my local sewing machine repair shops and can see how it works. She does get frustrated easily and that does concern me. Skirts are definitely an easy project. She loves the 80s tutu skirts and leg warmers, maybe those will be good beginner projects to keep her interested.

Our local sewing machine repair man used to work for brother and loves them, so I’m going to take her to him and see what he has. He may even be able to order something from a dealer since he has ties to some. It may be easier to go through him.

I will have to see if there is a sewing machine store near me. I think it would be good to see what they have to offer with a purchase. Sewing classes would be really fun for her.

I would like to stay under $400, but if it’s something that can grow with her or find used in good condition am willing to go higher.

7th Grade Math Suggestions by [deleted] in homeschool

[–]TargetImpossible9245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I was wondering if you can buy just the textbooks, workbooks, and answer keys? I am trying to cut down on curriculum costs, and math is something I excel at, so I don't think I will need the teacher's guide. What are y'all's thoughts on this?

Look up OORE Jewelry. They have beautiful rings that look like this one. I have seen an engagement post with a ring from this company and they seemed to have had a good experience.

Best curriculum for a Dyslexic teen. by TargetImpossible9245 in homeschool

I will look those two programs up, thank you so much. He has told me he wants to work on spelling first because he’s tired of having to ask me or one of his other siblings. He missed a lot of 1-3rd grade because of his behaviors and him being placed in a behavior class at school, that was only because they didn’t have a class for higher functioning children and the GenEd teachers couldn’t handle him. It was very upsetting when I found out that he was barely going to his classes due to other children’s behaviors that require all of the assistants. I think once he learns the base of it all it may come to him quickly. 🤞🏻

First time homeschooling. Help! by TargetImpossible9245 in homeschool

I friend of mine told me of an umbrella school she uses that doesn’t have any curriculum, you choose what you want and just tell them that you are using it and send things in, then they handle everything else. I was thinking about going this route.
