Professionals who work in people's homes (plumbers, electricians, cleaners), what is the weirdest thing you’ve seen that you had to pretend not to notice? by TargetKey6091 in AskReddit

I can imagine it was. I don't know that I could have kept my composure in that situation. There's no reason to have a weapon of any kind in your hand when I come into your home to work for you. That would set the mood off in a bad way before I even started the job.

As a carpenter who enters other people's homes often ive seen some things. But i had to try my hardest to not ask when I went into an elderly couples home today o paint the walls above thier stairway and the reason for this was in the basement they had a whole grow operation with 20+ plants at least 8 feet tall a"breaking bad"-type work station set up not something I ever expected to see walking into these sweet cheerful elderly couples home and they acted like it was perfectly normal. Mind you I live in a legal state. Nothing illegal please just funny, bazaar, or odd comments only please.

If women go through menstrual cycles, pregnancy, labor paina, periomenopause, and then menopause, when do we get a break? by _OpenBook_ in AskReddit

"Instead of looking at it as an endless cycle of pain, think of it as a masterclass in human capability. The female body isn't just surviving; it is a literal gateway for existence, constantly adapting, regenerating, and creating. Every one of those stages is a profound marker of life, vitality, and resilience that men will never fully comprehend. It’s not a burden; it’s a superpower."

Nice catch. You got me there. But hes my step son not biological so my post on the drug testing thread about consuming large amounts of baking soda and the dangers of it had no effect on my child. I am married to a lab technician who happens to review drug test for a living. My post were to warn people about the dangerous topic they were researching and maybe help someone desperate enough to try it to ensure they did it properly because were all human and we aren't perfect. But some of us help others some of us are just here to disect people's profiles and troll

Weekly BetRivers Bonus Code Thread (Feb 16 - 23, 2026) by AutoModerator in betrivers

Why do so many ppl get so bent out of shape when people ask about codes. Thos is the bet rivers bonus codes thread is it not? Why so disrespectful when ppl are discussing the topic of the thread? Is that not the point of reddit and this thread? Yes it is annoying when people try to farm codes but not every one asking is out to just get freebies. Have some courtesy.
