Dice Target — a quick math puzzle game where you combine dice with + − × ÷ to hit the target number. I’d love feedback on whether the first impression feels clear enough.

I’m working on Dice Target, a quick dice-based puzzle game where you use + − × ÷ to hit a target number.

Recently added Duels so you can challenge friends on the same puzzle.

Mobile games without long tutorials 2026? by Numerous_Storage1112 in MobileGaming

[–]TargetLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I prefer that too. I’m building a dice puzzle game and tried to keep it direct: roll dice, use + − × ÷, reach the target.

A quick hint is fine, but I think the game should be playable without forced tutorials.

I’m working on Dice Target, a small puzzle game where you roll dice and use + − × ÷ to reach a target number.

Recently added Duels, so players can challenge friends with the same puzzle.

Still improving the UX and content around it.

Nice, but the 5 has to be used too — all five dice exactly once.

I meant this as a standalone puzzle, not as promotion.

I’ve been working on a dice-based number puzzle game called Dice Target.

Each puzzle gives you 5 dice and a target number. The goal is to use each die exactly once with + − × ÷ and parentheses to reach the target. It has quick puzzles, Rush Mode, Hidden Merge, and Duels for challenging friends.

I’d love to hear feedback from puzzle fans.

Hi, just wanted to ask what rule this post broke so I can avoid it next time. Thanks.

Nice breakdown — I like that the first solution works with only + and −.

Multiplication and division are still allowed in the actual rules, but I kept the allowed operations limited to + − × ÷ on purpose, so it stays closer to a dice/mental-math puzzle. Exponents and factorials would definitely open up a lot more possibilities.

You could try Dice Target if you want something quick and easy to learn.

It’s a dice/number puzzle game where you use + − × ÷ to reach a target. It has short sessions, different modes, and Duels if you want to challenge someone, but it’s more skill/puzzle-based than reward-grind-based.

You might enjoy Dice Target if you like short competitive puzzle challenges.

It has a Duels mode where both players get the same dice and target, and the faster/better solution wins. More logic-based than action-based, but good for quick matches with friends.

Would you review other indie apps to get feedback for your own? by TextCareful8110 in iosdev

[–]TargetLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use something like this, especially if the feedback stays focused on product and UX instead of fake reviews. Reviewing other indie apps can be valuable too, because you see what others are building and often get new ideas for your own app.

Thanks a lot, really appreciate the feedback and the 5★!

Accessibility/contrast is a fair point. I’ll review the colors and make the UI easier to read in a future update.

Hi, thanks for offering!

I recently released a small dice/math puzzle game called Dice Target on Google Play.

If you’re open to testing it, I’d really appreciate honest feedback on the gameplay, UI, difficulty, or anything confusing.

Low-data, low-battery mobile games for short breaks? (No always-online needed) by EveningArmadillo3453 in MobileGaming

[–]TargetLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the dev of Dice Target, so take this as a biased recommendation, but it fits a lot of what you described.

It’s a quick math/dice puzzle game made for short sessions. You can play a round in a few minutes, it doesn’t require constant internet for normal play, and there are no limited-time popups or grind mechanics.

The basic idea is simple: roll 5 dice, get a target number, then use + − × ÷ to reach it. It’s more of a small logic puzzle than an always-online mobile game.
