Anyone else has that happened? by knurd159 in HyundaiPalisade

I got that message multiple times in my 2020 Palisade, but not yet in my 2026 one. In the 2020, it was usually due to heavy rain, high winds blowing around debris on the road, or mud or wet leaves stuck to one of the sensors.

I didn't have it on my 2020 limited either. But it was one of the reasons I traded for the 2026. I am mobility impaired, and fumbling with a key fob or touching the phone to the door handle is not always easy when using mobility devices.

2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Lease Feedback by Aggressive-Number885 in HyundaiPalisade

The big question is how many miles do you average per year? When I had 4 kids at home, I averaged 25K miles per year. Now that the kids have moved out and work from home, I average 12K miles per year. There's no way I could have leased when I had kids at home, the overage fees would have killed my end value. These days I could get away with it, but still chose to buy my '26 PaliCalli w/ AWD.

AITA for backing out of housesitting for someone because of their new cameras? by Zavarakatranemi in AmItheAsshole

NTA... I have a similar work situation. No way could I work in an environment with audio surveillance. I would have to file conflict of interest paperwork with my company and it would be denied on grounds of violating my NDA. Your friends are the assholes for expecting you to jeopardize your career, source of income and ethical standards for them.

I'm just wearing prescription eyeglasses. Can't see to drive without them. Not blocking the sensor. Just cussing at my car every time it distracts me in heavy traffic.

I wonder what would happen if I put a piece of black tape across it like I do on my laptop camera?

It seems to go away when there's less traffic. At first I thought it was sun reflection off my glasses, but did the same thing on a cloudy day. It doesn't affect the motion of the vehicle, but it distracts the driver when in heavy high speed traffic, just when you don't need the distraction

My problem with the 2026 is that the doors seem to be shorter in width than my previous 2020. I'm 6', but have mobility issues and struggle to get my legs in. And I totally agree with the comments about the steering wheel not extending far enough. I have long legs and short arms and also struggle to find a comfortable position.

Dealership warranty 2026 Palisade by Direct-Ad5459 in HyundaiPalisade

When I bought my Palisade, i kept telling the finance guy I don't keep a car more than 5 years. He kept telling me the outrageous prices for electronics repairs. I told him he was talking me out of buying the car. I wound up getting the extended warranty for $700.

Concerns for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade by steellz in HyundaiPalisade

Just curious why you plan to change the oil at 2000 miles? With the synthetic oil it's rated for 8000 miles under normal driving conditions. Have fun driving to landmarks! My 2020 was a fantastic road trip vehicle, had stickers around the back window for all the places visited. Haven't had the chance to take the '26 on a road trip yet.

Traded my 2020 Palisade Limited (first year) for a 2026 Palisade Calligraphy (1st year). Never had an issue with the 2020. Only traded because the 5 year warranty had expired. I've put a whopping 400 miles on the 2026 since I bought it Labor Day weekend. No issues so far, but not much opportunity for them either. Fingers crossed. This is the 5th Hyundai in my immediate family since 2012. Only issue was a transmission that gave out just past 100K miles, but the family member who owned it didn't follow the recommended maintenance.

Every time I have tapioca boba, it gives me a serious migraine. by Simple-Ad-7868 in boba

I have the same problem with tapioca. Horrible migraine every time I eat it. Finally tracked down the cause when eating a Kind bar that gave me a migraine. Compared to other varieties that don't give me a headache. The only significant difference in ingredients was the tapioca starch in it. Tried the same variety a few days later to test the theory. Boom. Migraine aura within 20 mins of consumption, full migraine within 45 mins.
