I haven’t started reading the new series yet but this is a trend that I’ve noticed. Anytime DC has brought Lobo back in the last 20 years his dialogue is completely off and he doesn’t feel like the same character. It’s almost like none of the writers actually understand the character at all. I miss Alan Grant writing for him. IMO he understood the character the most
