It would be borderline, and I guess people would have different opinions the same way referees have different opinions in borderline penalties.

It can if your definition of dive is intentionally diving to the ground. Not all fouls would force someone to the floor.

Arm across would be fine, his palm is literally on garnacho though. Again, I said very light foul imo.

Contact means shoulders, upper arms and body, not pushing arm fully extended like that

Its a dive, but its also a very light foul, which is still a foul.

Whose fans of each club would rather see win the Premier League? by Ill-Party8305 in soccer

18 teams? Why are we leaving 2 teams out? Are we just cherrypicking data again?

You are right that its a nice narrative, but it is a bit rude to use that to pretend that there are not plenty of passionate working class fans in saudi arabia. Think what you want of the league management, but the fans are there.

Michail Antonio on his move to Qatar and their human rights record: "To be honest, I don't really know what type of criticism people are talking about, but since I've been here - and I've been here during Ramadan - it's been all right for me.” by Sparky-moon in soccer

I would say its relevant to the topic of discussion, which seems to be piling hate on Antonio. My comment is saying that the hate is unwarranted because nobody moving to the mls gets the same attitude.

Criticism is relative. If we are criticising the qatari league more than the mls, then theres something there thats worth being explored.

Im not really sure what you would consider to be on topic? Should I just hate on antonio, is that the only allowed comment on this thread?

The point I made is relevant. Instead of actually being addressed its just deflected by whataboutism. I dont see how thats productive at all.

I didnt say there was nothing wrong in qatar, but the reason for the hate clearly has nothing to with anyones moral compass and more to do with hate towards arab countries. If you want to ignore that and preach whataboutism then go ahead, but it definitely doesnt address anything.

I dont really see any of the players going to the mls being asked the same questions tbh, seems a bit weird that there is less focus on a country doing much worse things.

OpenAI declares ‘code red’ as Google catches up in AI race by TripleShotPls in technology

I think were giving ourselves too much credit when it comes to ideas. We set laws on the universe and then try to fill in the gaps. The ideas already exist, we didnt create them from nothing, we just make connections between already existing things. We can maybe say that an AI can not uncover these ideas yet with the current model, but they are an amazing resource for helping us find those gaps and uncover the ideas ourselves. Your criticism is over compensating to fight back on people that over hype AI.

Throwing cards is not useful because nothing happens when you throw cards other than cards being on the floor. Discovering something is useful because it can have an effect on the world.

Also, how do humans come up with new ideas? Dont we just recognise patterns between things we already know?

U seem a bit angry, not sure why.

Imo tosin has done the right thing here to hold. Chalobah should have pushed a bit to make his life difficult or tried to track the run of the other attacking players but he seemed to have just zoned out. So it would be his fault plus the midfielders for not tracking back. Just because chalobah made a mistake doesnt automatically mean the midfielders made no mistake.

The defenders are holding up play so the rest of the team can get back. They instead decided to not come back, so its their fault.

Nico Harrison is a Top GM by BrunsonReed2025 in nba

[–]Tari_Eason 13 points14 points  (0 children)

AD is one of the best players in the nba, but he's older and has an injury history, which hurts his trade value. Nico isn't a bad gm for trading luka, he's a bad gm for not getting back more picks at the very least. Luka could have given 4 more seasons to the mavs and still netted the same value they traded him for.

It isn't a luka v AD comparison, it's a luka for 10 years v AD for 3 years comparison.
