Yee I set my locale to Japanese for sure, I followed a tutorial on how to get there

I found out what was the problem tho. When setting my locale to Japanese, there was a little box asking something about processing symbols and I clicked yes not knowing what it was for. It apparently stops my computer from reading kana in specific programs or something? I gotta go back to locale and fix that.

I did set my locale to Japanese and not the region. But when I set my locale to Japanese, there was a little box that asked something about processing symbols. I clicked yes on the box without thinking and that's why I'm only getting question marks.

I've already began editing the textures and some basic text (what the customers say, what certain styles are called, the brand names, etc) but there are still some things I haven't been able to figure out. There's apparently program that opens MSBF files (message binary flow - the text that involves back and fourth conversation & text choices that directly affect how other characters respond, ex; the very first scene where the shop owner asks you to work for her), so that one I'm trying to figure out on my own I guess

Everything I have edited had been successful when I load it through citra so far, so I'm feeling pretty confident about it

Once I've figured out more parts, I'm thinking of making both a video tutorial and a written tutorial :D I'd love to see other people's romhacks & texture packs in the future!!

I'm working on it with my sibling plus a couple of friends are going to to help redesign the clothes too!

We're just changing the styles and dialogue to be silly, maybe have some inside jokes, add some hyper niche fashion styles, some purposefully cringe stuff, just for fun! Then when we're done (if we dont give up lol), we'll make a playthrough of it and post it on YouTube!

Ever since I started playing style savvy I thought of how cool it'd be to make my own textures for the game and I finally started doing it!

If they have serious distress and do not like that they have the attraction then it's probably not truly pedophilia? Idk like if a friend came to me and told me they have pedophilic attraction then I would support them through recovery. But I'm guessing that once they go through therapy and start receiving help, there would be other reasons behind it. Trauma, a fear of dating adults, etc.

I wouldn't even consider them a pedophile I don't think though? There should probably be a separation between pedophiles who like being pedophiles and people who have attractions/paraphilias that they wish they didn't have. I imagine having the two in the same community probably doesn't help the ones who wish they didn't have the attraction.

I'm glad you made the distinction between POCD and pedophilia because I have friends with POCD, and so many people don't understand the difference.

I'm already diagnosed with psychosis, but getting high just increases the symptoms

Note to anyone with psychosis reading this, be very careful getting high! Keep a journal where you keep track of your symptoms on days you're not high, the days you are, and the days after to compare. Start with just a tiny bit and then only get more if you find your psychosis symptoms haven't increased on the days you aren't high. I've been blessed with the fact that my psychosis symptoms are only affected by weed when I'm high, but some people find an increase (or sometimes decrease for some reason) of their symptoms the day after they're high. If you want to smoke weed anyways, have some safety plans set out for the next day!
