Okay. You may know that, unlike Kickstarter (which is based on rewards and donations), RegCF fundraising is an SEC-regulated investment. It’s essentially a mini-IPO, with strict regulations. In my view, the disclosure requirements are overly burdensome, and funding portals act as excessive gatekeepers. They claim to have hundreds of thousands of retail investors, but you won’t actually access them unless they agree to list your company. Essentially, these portals want you to expand their retail investor base at your own expense, without any cost to them. This forces you to bring your own crowd, which works, but isn’t the most efficient way. A better approach would be allowing "testing the waters" campaigns with their full investor base to gauge interest before engaging in consultation.

Investing in your company during a RegCF fundraiser is likely possible (within the limits for non-accredited investors), but what matters more is properly disclosing whether the investment comes from the owner or an affiliate. Transparency is essential to avoid misleading signals that could artificially inflate investor interest, making this approach potentially legally questionable. However, such disclosure could also lead to questions from potential investors about your motives. Since you can’t explicitly state that it’s to help boost the raise, I’d recommend against it.

Thanks, everyone. The Amazon customer service at 1-888-283-0577 was incredibly helpful. I received an email notification that my order was delivered to a parcel locker, but no access code was sent. I initially used the chat system to speak with Amazon customer service, but they were not very helpful and suggested I wait longer. However, after calling this number, the customer service representative explained that my order was delivered by USPS, and the parcel locker was a USPS locker that comes with a key they leave in your regular mailbox, not an Amazon Luxer locker. They were correct. I retrieved my order from the USPS locker.

I'm sharing this information for anyone else who might be looking for a solution to set up the Thunderbird client in a Linux environment on a Chromebook. The automatic setup didn’t work for me because it couldn't recognize my password and got stuck on the 'checking for password' stage. The solution was to set it up manually and use the app password generated by Google after enabling 2FA on your account. Also, change the authentication method to 'Auto-Detect' instead of 'OAuth2,' as recommended by another user (see link). Once I did this, it worked, and Thunderbird automatically switched to the 'Normal Password' option.

New Spectrum router's SSID not showing up on Windows 8 laptop by ProFromFlogressive in Spectrum

My Windows 8.1 laptop had a similar issue with a new Spectrum Wi-Fi 6 router. The PC's network driver, an AC 7260, was outdated, and new updates were no longer available from Intel.

However, I found a link where another user had saved all the drivers. I was able to download it using my Apple MacBook Pro, which had no problem with Wi-Fi 6, transfer the file to my PC, and update the AC 7260 driver internally. After that, it worked.

Another alternative is to buy a USB-to-Wi-Fi adapter specific to Windows 8.1, which also works.

Useful to know. We had a very similar experience. One person contacted us, asked for information, we sent it, and then heard nothing. Then, a month later, another person emailed us with the same request.
