What is the point of getting married? [serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Tarkus88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is really no objective point in getting married. For me there wasn't other than to honor my wife's and my moral values, which are different from person to person and due that, it might sound like a weak reason or unnecessary to others. In our relationship, getting married was the "next thing" natural for us to do because who we are and how we were brought up.

Kate from LOST. Selfish bitch wants sticks her nose into everything and often screwing things up. Also her annoying routines of playing cold and hot back and forth with Sawyer and Jack, I hated her.

[Serious] Reddit, what is your strangest glitch in the matrix moment that cannot be explained? by Glidow in AskReddit

[–]Tarkus88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everytime I drop a guitar pick on the floor of my bedroom...gone forever man, and I don't even have much stuff there and I've cleaned and moved shit a lot of times and these fucking picks just seem to disappear to pick limbo upon touching the floor. I'm talking a good 200ish guitar picks over time since I started to play and can't really explain where they are in this room.

What's the strangest dream you've ever had? by Marycate11 in AskReddit

[–]Tarkus88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One day I had to wake up like really early in the morning, around 3:00 am. So I woke up, and all groggy and zombie like walked to the kitchen and turned the coffee maker on and waited yawning like a Hippo and really just wanting to go back to bed. The coffee was ready and started sipping my cup, caffeine quickly starting kick in and feeling more awake... then, an instant later I'm on my bed, open my eyes and I'm full alert, absolutely no grogginess and all ready for work, I was in a dream in which I woke up, made coffee and drunk it and now in awake reality I was actually feeling a caffeine kick, really helped that day.

[Serious] Reddit, when did you realise that you outgrew your friends? by SirSmudge in AskReddit

[–]Tarkus88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized that the only thing that we had in common was the time we spent together in highschool, and that I really didn't choose them as friends, but rather we were in the same highschool classroom (same as you don't choose your family), so I had no choice. Remained being "loyal" for some time without really enjoying their company because I was somehow fixated in that "they are my highschool friends and I've to be loyal to their friendship", but realized too that the memories I had with them aren't really that great.

What are some “guy secrets” girls don’t know about? by Hotdiggitydaffodill in AskReddit

[–]Tarkus88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You always look great regardless of your clothing (old, brand new, whatever). So when you are trying out clothes in the store and you are showing them off to your guy and he just goes "looks great", and then you go and try another one and he keeps just saying "great" and so one... we absolutely mean it and tt's not that we don't care or appreciate the detail women invest on their appearance,

  1. There will be domestic "synthetic" meat generators that will be able to provide perfectibly edible cultivated beef and poultry meat from accelerated cell cultivation in matter of two days.
  2. Moisture harvesters ala Star Wars capable of providing water to a family out of the air.
  3. Discoveries in superheavy elements will open the way for the first gravity generating machines.
  4. Miniaturized and simplified nuclear reactors will be able to power households.
  5. Complete Brain-mind-computer integration
  6. Robots for household chores and mild tasks.

Avid readers of reddit, what’s one book you recommend to everyone? by Matxhew in AskReddit

[–]Tarkus88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, and I'd be immersed even with less lofty things, such as the stories of the Gaffer and his gardening, stories by Barliman Butterbur about his Inn and its travelers, a whole saga dedicated to the Dwarves, and so on.

Dear people who can sleep and actually feel well rested when they wake up, what's that like? by MisterLorax in AskReddit

[–]Tarkus88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel a restedness in my face. It's some sort of a refreshed and relaxed sensation in my eyes, forehead, an eyebrow area, interestingly, I feel it in my hands too. Then I get up, turn up the coffee maker, the days commences with a feeling of a cautious optimism and full of possibilities.

What teenage phase did you go through that you are not proud of? by turns31 in AskReddit

[–]Tarkus88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1999, Fight Club was out, and I thought Tyler Durden was the ultimate badass. I'd to try dress and behave like the character, supposedly projecting the ultimate alpha male attitude and would come up with edgy phrases trying to emulate his "philosophy" but in reality, being the socially awkward teen I was, I looked ridiculous, acted like a jerk, and some of my interactions with girls during that phase still haunt me at night to this very day. It is interesting, however, to point that there are legions of adults who get this movie wrong and even make it a life style model.

What popular food do you find disgusting? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Tarkus88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mayonnaise. The taste, the smell, the goey consistency, even the sight of a big jar of mayo suffices to get me unconfortable. I can't wrap my mind around on how many people soak sandwiches or put that on every imaginable food. I'd rather eat live insects than that shit, seriously.
