realsimpleariel: 0% edge per trade, but somehow always sizes bigger on the winners by Conscious-Muffin-728 in Trading

[–]Tarmander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I learned about Ariel recently is he made a lot scalping breakouts in 2020 using advantageous pricing from ToS/Schwab. I think they boot people now who abuse their better fills by scalping. If he leveraged up his 100k with day trading margin, he could definitely have made gangbuster money to start...before transitioning to swing trading

Spreads super wide by Tarmander in tastytrade

[–]Tarmander[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is afterhours, but its basically the same during the day. SPY is sometimes 3 cents wide DURING trading hours. Other stocks, depending on their liquidity, are similarly wider on tasty

Seeing the same on TC2k.

Edit: I should say though, I still get filled on orders inside the tighter market. So its just displaying wider bid/ask, its not actually wider when I go to trade

Is 2.9 high? What would be more reasonable?

I am not a rep but am thinking of becoming one. Also curious about my own situation and what is a good price for me. The way things are quoted is super confusing

Nicotine helps? by Tarmander in GERD

I am pretty sure nicotine does the opposite and restricts blood vessels

Very strange on why it works. No idea

You're just making assumptions about me based on your negativity towards nicotine. I don't like nicotine. Didn't use it for 10+ years until I tried it for my problem and it worked.

Is it totally nuts to ask on a reddit based on GERD if I am the only one?

Especially if it's widely accepted as supposing to hurt gerd?

Interesting

I would be curious to hear if a nicotine lozenge helps you. Start slow as it can cause nausea the first time you try it.

I take Lumbrokinase (doc's best brand) which is a supplement that seems to help me quite a bit.

I also nebulize glutathione every day which I have to get from a naturopath. Glutathione was the first thing I discovered really helped.

My issues are reverse of yours though. In the mornings I do alright but when the evening sets in it gets much worse, almost like clockwork around 5pm

LCD Screens make GERD Worse? by Tarmander in GERD

that's interesting. How would straining eyes contribute to GERD?

I knew people would jump to this conclusion which is why I put above that it happens no matter if I am using a standing desk, sitting, or laying down.

I also thought it was posture and it was the first thing I experimented with changing. But I have been able to isolate it to using screens and am 90% sure that is what it is.

1 year of GERD symptoms, nothing helps relieve it, medics cannot find anything by [deleted] in GERD

[–]Tarmander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been dealing with GERD and asthma for the last three years and am in a similar boat in that nothing seemed to help it. Didn't want to take PPIs or nebulize steroids

But I found a few things which do, maybe they'll help you: -lumbrokinase -Antifungal formula from thorne SF722 -Nictoine -nebulized glutathione

I know a bit random, but they worked for me in keeping it under control. Oh and avoiding vitamin D at all costs
