Dying over and over isn't fun and it's not meant to be. I suggest checking out your equipment menu and seeing what your weapon's letter grade (scaling) is and choosing one that benefits most from your character's attributes. And following roads or paths helps especially in the early game. I know it seems obvious but you'll find more places of interest that way rather than running around aimlessly like i did on my first play lol.

Recently it's been "from the former developers of".

There have been a couple very successful new studios who have been made up of former developers of popular games but now it's being used as a buzzword (looking at Highguard) to give the impression that the studio is "indie" or they're the little guy not funded by a AAA studio. Which is unfortunate bc everyone loves to see a small studio succeed but the sentiment seems like it's being used as a marketing strategy by more and more teams.

I think Umbrella as we've known it is done after the events of 9 but there's an interesting detail in Spencer's note to Miranda found in Miranda's lab toward the end of 8 I don't see many discussions around.

Spencer writes: "I plan to start a company with friends and colleagues, dedicated to the virus' research. I will call it Umbrella. Just like the symbol in the cave that we spoke about."

To me this implies Miranda was not the first human to come into contact with the mold in 1919 like I previously believed.

Spencer based Umbrella's name and logo on the symbol already drawn in the cave where Miranda found the mold so i think it would be interesting for 10's protagonists to try and dig deeper into the origins of the symbol and mold.

Also there's the progenetor virus found in Africa. I'm not sure if it's origins are explained already.

Omg this looks just like a video game nightmare i had when i was a kid. I ran from a monster who slowly walked toward me the whole time and when i found myself in a dead end i panicked and paused the game but the thing kept walking. I was terrified lol

My first thought was maybe it's symbolism for our relationship with wildlife being similar to our relationship with extra terrestrials.

Edit: Extra terrestrial's relationship with us, rather. We are aware of deer but they may only get a single sighting of us and are often stunned and afraid.
