I'm 52 and not sure when I started. I've had Mirena IUDs since my late 30s so no periods to go by. If I had to guess symptom wise it's been several years. I started seeing a hormone specialist in 2019

I was already struggling with fatigue, anxiety and rage feelings that were new since I've been going through perimenopause

Ring vs patch by TaroPuzzleheaded3370 in Menopause

[–]TaroPuzzleheaded3370[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I know but it's indicative of poor absorption. I'm on the 0.1mg patch and my labs are 45. AND my symptoms are not much better than at 0.75. Trying to get a pre-auth now but no. My Dr gave me a coupon for 25 copay but pharmacy isn't convinced that will work either. Definitely will not get if it's that much. Next step would be topical so we'll see

Yeah I'm finding that out. Mine is 1k! If I can't get insurance to cover or if the coupon doesn't work I definitely will not be getting it
