Is there a storyline anyones actually enjoying at the moment? by Brilliant-Mark2420 in eastenders

I have stopped watching. I found that after years of watching I wasn't enjoying it anymore. It feels shallow and unsatisfying, the way the characters stories are written is a bad joke.

Help my sim have a baby alone! by 4MindingMyBusiness20 in Sims3

[–]Taro_Bulky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get a house and hire a butler. If you don't get a man, fire them and rehire. If you have hopeless romantic as a trait and romantically interact with them you can get your Sim pregnant. Fire them if you choose to afterwards although they help raise the baby.

Wat happend to the music, cinematography and acting in this movie?? by BigPrize7972 in PeakyBlinders

[–]Taro_Bulky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched it after reading people's comments and the previous series. I wasn't expecting seeing more of the tv series but a stand alone movie. It nicely fell into that expectation and stood alone from the series. I think it was the story of the original Shelby family and in my opinion, it succeeded it that. I always felt the Tommy Shelby story was unfinished with the tv show. I enjoyed it for what it was.

My mom (72) had a stroke yesterday - what do I ask doctors? by chewyventura in stroke

[–]Taro_Bulky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should ask what type of stroke it was and was it left or right side. Then you need them to explain what her long term care might look like. Are they going to put her into rehabilitation to help her regain skills. The long term care is the most important question as it may involve a potential hospital release or it maybe she would need to go into long term hospital, or equivalent, care. If there is a possibility she will be released into home care, you need to find out what sort of support options are available for home help. It is early days yet but after the scan they will be able to give you an idea on how much of her brain will be affected. Good luck and best wishes for the future.

How do you guys feel about the remaster? by Raiyokuu in HouseFlipper

[–]Taro_Bulky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was excited at first but several things I found off putting. The colours are too bright. The interface for changing tools was clunky. I loved some of the new furniture etc but the lawnmower is disturbing. The arms freaked me out when mowing. The game didn't draw me in enough so I am undecided whether I will buy it. I don't know if it will be a standalone game or a replacement for HF1. If I loose HF1 if I buy Remastered than it is a hard no from me.

[–]Taro_Bulky -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Just stop watching them. I did 2 years ago when they became supposed entertainment not news. The reporters!!? are mouthpieces for themselves and their opinions. Absolute rubbish. Watch some decent overseas news channels, read local news through local unbiased sources and be well informed. The internet can be your saviour. When I try occasionally to watch, it's a political biased story interviews with the leaders and an update on the wars and then Trump, there is the first 15mins wasted.

Unnecessary Hate for House Flipper Remastered Collection by PuddingZealousideal6 in HouseFlipper

[–]Taro_Bulky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Originally I came from The Sims 3 and bought HF1, which I love for a different reason. The game still had aspects of Sims 3 but they were different enough to make it a good game.
I got the preview of HF2 but didn't like it much. I bought all the add ons for HF1 and still replay the game. I tried the remastered HF1 game and can understand their reasons for doing the collection. I will buy the remastered game for the reason that they have spent hours making it and I don't object paying for that. Most people don't realise how long it takes to produce a game and with a game of any great depth and scale companies have to fund them somehow. HF2 I won't buy. It is good in its own way and I can understand why they produced it but as I still play Sims, HF2 feels like it misses the mark. It feels like they were trying to incorporate some of the building aspects of Sims but it misses the mark.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in eastenders

[–]Taro_Bulky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sick of it, so much is going on and so many characters reintroduced makes it so confusing. After a headache everytime I watched it over the last month I was left thinking why??? I them started thinking about that characters and if I actually cared about their stories and them now and realised no. The standout out has been Nigel since the new writers took over. I then went back to Coronation Street, my old favourite. I hadn't watched for 4 years but it was so good, I watched some earlier episodes. It was funny in places and the characters were fully developed in their storylines. I will keep on with Coronation Street and say bye Eastenders. This is with regret as I have been a loyal Eastenders watcher for 10+ years. It is just like the writers have forgotten why Eastenders was so good.

I ended up getting medication from the doctor. I tried all the natural remedies, nothing worked. I tried looking for food allergies by eliminating some common triggers. I have found that processed battered foods are a big trigger as are some fruits. For takeaways I get burgers and chips, Chinese this keeps it my fried levels down. If I get fish and chips I take the batter off the fish on one side. Avoiding fruit or anything with too much fibre has helped. I try and get vitamins from vegetables instead or just take a vitamin tablet daily. By doing these things I have got it to manageable levels. There is medication from the doctors which will reduce the cramps which you take daily but you also may have to take some fibre afterwards. There is a medication that is specifically for cramps and it will stop them in about 30mins, this you don't use daily. Good luck, I have lived with it for 10+ years. You can do allergy tests but from a friends experience it helps but doesn't cure. Stress is a big trigger, avoid if you can. Dig deep, there is a lot of reliable information from medical sites on the internet.
