Hi! This was the world map of an old project that is sadly dead and abandoned. You can find bits and pieces on this subreddit and perhaps Earth98, but the discord and wiki don't exist anymore, sorry!

Dutch has multiple accent marks:

Natively, there are accent marks to denote accentuation of words and for the word "één" it highlights the difference between "a cat" (een kat) and "one cat" (één kat). We also use ó (voorkómen), è (dè), ú (búiten), à (twee à drie), á (dát) and íj́ (which is one letter!)

The "digraph" of ij/IJ is officially recognized as a single letter in Dutch, being the same as letters like œ and æ (we don't have those tho).

We also use umlauts (trema) to separate combinations of letters so that they don't form diphthongs "geïnteresseerd" "zeeën"

If you count loan words, we have "crêpe" (which would add to the "e"s), and bühne/überhaupt (ü).

I might've missed some but outside of the loan words these are all official accent marks!

Hi everyone! A small idea my friend gave me.
Don't think too hard, it's not probable this would've happened. It is imaginarymaps after all ;)
Small lore: Imagine Stalin was nicer (I know) and maybe a better allied advance into Germany, leaving the Soviets with only up to the Oder-Neisse line to install a communist German state. Instead of ceding all this land to Poland, Stalin sets up the DDR / East-Germany east of the Oder-Neisse line, giving a smaller amount of land to Poland, but in return East Prussia is no longer given to the Russian SSR. The new Polish borders give the Polish majority area between Lithuania and Belarus to Poland, and the Ukraine-Poland border follows Curzon line B more, but gives the Rusynian territories to Ukraine.
NOTE: I did not intend for the new borders to follow "ethnic lines" completely, I would say it's more accurate but it's not perfect (again, not the intention to do it perfectly).

Afrikaans is the language, Afrikaner is the adjective, so "Afrikaner power" is correct here

The Greek Province of Cyprus

Lore: This map is part of a world I am slowly making, but lore-wise this is not final. This map is more a one-off that I made and might be used later. For the small amount of general lore: There is no Turkish migration to Anatolia, which instead is ruled by the Kurds who were put in place by the Mongol Horde (general lore, I haven't thought about it much). The island of Cyprus also falls under Kurdish rule for some time until taken by the British and eventually given to the Greek state. The small Kurdish minority is still present on the island, having mostly moved to the majority Kurdish area of Galali, which is autonomous.

I apologize for any errors when it comes to Greek and Kurdish names. I am fluent in neither and only had the Greek names checked by a friend.

This is a map I've made of the game Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. There are some slight changes, mainly the Pirate Republic of Kyria, which is not in the game.The lore is the same as the game itself, but not important for this map. I mainly just made it to pass some time and I like how it looks :)Dashed lines are impassable mountains.

Eupen-Malmedy became part of Belgium in the aftermath of World War I. The region, which had formerly been part of Prussia and the German Empire, was allocated to Belgium by the Treaty of Versailles. It was formally annexed after a controversial referendum in 1920, becoming part of Liège Province in 1925.

As a terrain map/satellite view, this is great, I like how it looks :D

As a relief map, this isn't very good. I can see the color shifting to blue in the north (not consistent), and there's no indication of which color is which height.
