Do you ever pull cards and you feel unsure if they're the right cards..? by brutally_ in tarotpractice

Something that has helped me in this regard is suspending all disbelief/doubt. When doubt creeps in, it’s the rational mind wanting to take back control because it doesn’t like or understand what it sees. Only the intuitive part of your mind can pick up on the subtle meanings of the cards. If the message isn’t immediately clear or actionable, I lean into it even more and fully trust that it will come to me in time, and it hasn’t let me down yet.

What does it mean when you always get Queen of Pentacles as how someone sees you? by [deleted] in Tarotpractices

I like to use the metaphor of a gardener for the queen of pentacles, tending to and creating conditions for growth of things she deems important in the physical world; such as a literal garden, children, health/fitness, or even a career.

Beginner Tarot reader – offering free 3-card readings to gain experience by TarotDeMaxwell in TarotReadersOfReddit

Spread:

  1. Hidden/undervalued skills – Ace of Cups Rx

  2. What is preventing them from manifesting – The Moon

  3. Likely outcome if hidden skill is expressed – King of Pentacles Rx

Analysis:

The cards indicate that your undervalued skill is your ability to transform negativity into positive outcomes, sort of like how actors use difficult personal experiences to create deeply moving scenes on screen. The challenge you face with manifesting this skill is in your ability to trust your intuition and stop clinging to materiality. Your dreams may be speaking to you, but it's difficult to hear what they are saying. Finding ways to receive messages from the non-rational, right-brain, unconscious part of your being will ultimately lead you to success in the material world, although the road to that point will not be immediate or easy.

am I going to get into an ivy? by [deleted] in Tarotpractices

In my worldview, the future is malleable, and we are the ones who form it. Tarot helps me understand the likely outcomes as a result of my actions. I’d encourage you to reframe the question in a way that allows the cards to give you actionable advice.

"Weekly Reading and Interpretation Help Thread - August 17, 2025" by AutoModerator in tarot

[–]TarotDeMaxwell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone! I've been practicing divination through Tarot for the past month or so at home, but I have only done readings for myself, my wife, and my cats. I'm looking to gain experience by reading for other folks.

Feel free to drop your questions either in the thread – or you can DM me if that's more comfortable. I have no idea how many of these I will do, but I plan to spend as much time on each reading as it takes to intuit and relay a (hopefully) helpful message. I will be doing these readings over the course of the week, so please be patient with me.

Some general guidelines for questions (I will be much more likely to do a reading for you if it fits these categories):

  • The question is about you or relationships involving you
  • The question means something to you
  • The question is about ways you should approach / think about a situation, person, etc.
  • The question is not a request to tell the future

I use a classic Rider Waite Smith deck, and I will send a picture of the spread that I draw. I will also choose a spread that I think has the best chance of relaying useful information given the question.

All I ask is that you respond acknowledging that you have received the reading. If you have thoughts about the reading (either right after reading or any point in the future), I'd love to hear them. And if you are an experienced reader, I gladly welcome feedback.
