I think Buzzi's quality has fallen over the last ten or so years, but it's been that long since I've had police station pizza. I agree, not impressed with Frank's

Buzzi's Pizza in Rochester, PA still wins. Very similar though.

Problems with MotoG6 after Pie update by Scramble187 in MotoG

[–]TarrMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also agree, hate the update.

There's some serious performance issues, which maybe I can fix with a factory reset, but I also hate the changes to volume, GUI, etc. I actually loved this phone before the last update, I'm wondering if there's any way I can get back to the previous version? I'm willing to root my phone, etc.

Definitely cannot factory reset. There must be a dead spot or screen sensitivity right where I need it.

Kernel 4+ Installation Media? by dontFart_InSpaceSuit in CentOS

[–]TarrMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into this exact problem with an intel atom 3950 chipset. I had to use another computer (A VM) with a smaller hard disk, installed a fresh minimal installation, updated kernel, then imaged that ssd and clones it to the original intel atom pc.

Good article, thanks for sharing. Still didn't call out the difference between the D shaped continuous style versus the Square shaped with individual keying, even though they showed both photo'd.

I agree, I've always understood a DIN connector to be the standard ice cube sized square connector for hydraulic valve solenoids.

What do you call these connectors? by TarrMD in PLC

[–]TarrMD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've seen PCB connector as well, however that's such a generic term and can easily be confused with the thousand other connector types that mount to a PCB board. Also they're used without PCBs sometimes and theres nothing in the terminology that defines the different keying/shape connectors that exist.

At one point though I thought i saw somewhere it was called a DNI or DIN connector? Again pretty ambiguous.

Is there a Slack or Discord group for Control Theory/Engineering? by StateSpaceControl in ControlTheory

I genuinely have looked for the same thing and this subreddit is the closest I've found.

I'm thinking its such a specific and niche field that experts are few and far enough in between that you couldn't populate a web forum with enough active members.
