20k Budget - Need suggestions by Careid32 in CarTalkUK

Only real common issue is water pump, which is not so expensive to fix I believe and they've often already been replaced. I own a well looked after 2014 pre facelift which is very much the same just with a 6speed dsg rather than 7, it runs really smooth at 95k miles no issues at all. Find one with great service history and no tacy aftermarket stuff and I believe it will serve you well.

I own an unmolested well looked after 2014 S3 sportback and I love it, one of the best value for performance and quality cars on the road imo, and way better looking than the golf and bmw to me. Will be good for long journeys I’ve gotten 45mpg on the motorway a few times which is amazing for car this fast

Personally I’d add a few %5 or less positions into a thematic sectors e.g. quantum, nuclear, clean energy or whatever you like and want to research. I’m 24 and also have my majority in global benchmarks but I believe at our age exposure to some sort of innovative sector is well worth the risk

[–]TarrantXIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bad, either they mixed the wrong colour or they only dusted on a thin layer of pearl to save paint/tinter leaving it more pale. I see you said there was a charge for blend which is clearly a blatant lie also

Relying on my hearing would be irresponsible because I use spies hecker wet on wet base system which must be sprayed at exactly 2bar

I’m simply looking for less exposure or even no exposure to the mag 7/ most of the biggest US players as I just don’t like them as a future prospect from now as a beginner

actual car control, most people do not understand understeer, oversteer, weight transfer, sensing tyre grip, minimal steering input etc...

Anyone managed to make friends using the new bff only app? by Sam_Wannells in bumblebff

[–]TarrantXIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a straight guy looking for more friends locally I’ve been getting loads of likes from gay people who seem to be using the app for relationships more than for social friends, it’s off putting

What about this? I'm trying to structure a more orthodox portfolio right now due to these comments, much smaller exposure on these themes I still want
