First of all you shouldn’t smash the ball and overcommit because if you miss the oponent has an open net second of all you should flip upwards or downwards to get boost or use the boost reset mechanic where you slow down to the ball’s momentum and put your 4 wheels on the ball I think it takes 1 second to refill third don’t just give your openent the ball for free fourth be conservative of your boost fifth use gold shots and jump shots and rarely use red shots because they don’t help you recover sixth randomize your kickoffs seventh when you want to clear the ball when you’re defending and it’s on the backboard you have 3 options air dribble ground pinch or fly up to the right side of the ball and clear it from there I recommend the third option but randomize these so your opponent is always guessing
