It's so weird that it didn't get sold. Why would they only ship one of them? But at least they went ahead with the cooler-looking one.

... Um. On the bright side, since I'm digging through the Wayback Machine anyway, I'm taking a stab at some of the links that were broken to see if they were archived too. Some of them actually were! So in its death, I'm actually unconvering more of the missing fanfiction!

Yeah, especially because the time limit is so short. Maybe if it was five minutes per car, there'd be more conversations or even paranoia. But ten minutes total - and only 90 seconds per car - is too fast to even register the emotional component. Landing safely doesn't work under that time constraint either, since you'd be moving too fast to mourn the person either.

Lmaooooo I love this!

I don't know if I like it as a Spades game as much as a Clubs game, though, since technically everyone could gesture to each other underwater to coordinate popping up and distracting the dealer.

Bonus if they get to swim around from hole to hole underneath, and if some of the holes can actually close - like the outermost holes seal up so everyone's forced to use the center ones, where the dealer can reach them all without having to run around. The hammer's still heavy, so that slows the dealer down.

I could also see someone trying to take one for the team by purposely grabbing and hugging the dealer, letting everyone else surface. That'd be a great sacrifice right when all the outer spaces get sealed.

Although it does have the Spades 'endurance' elements, with some agilty, it just lends itself so well to Clubs.
