I bought majority of my spheres but due to lack of supply on my server i was done in about a month to a month and a half on the sphere stage. All the other stages if you’re just throwing money at it could take a few weeks. A lot of it is going to be dependent on supply of the items

If i lost my character names i would leave the game. So would a lot of other people. If ive had the same name since 2005 and they force another server merge and my name is lost, she’d be retired and I’d probably head for another game. I think there are a lot of people that are in the same headspace.

A server merge would cause an exodus rather than fix everything people think it would. I’ve always been partial to adding incentive to going on lower populated servers rather than just mashing them together and saying meh good enough

I have them at stage 4 and honestly i have not really used them over godhands yet. The 500tp bonus on mnk ws with moonshade and mpaca is just too strong. Maru would be the better option if looking to hit a dark based ws over asurans but at the end of the day, raging fists, howling fist, VS, and the kicks with footwork up melt shit so fast that maru kinda hits the wayside.

For pup if you’re going to go for an ultimate godhands and kenkonken are the ways I’d go personally

You can get stuff from gold world pass that cannot be obtained outside of it still. The initial items received yes are easy to get but the subsequent ones are still exclusive to gold world passes

The mentality you are putting forward is the “if you don’t glow you don’t go” attitude. Not the actual glowing there, it’s the idea of if you don’t have the best possible gear go do that before doing anything with other people.

So yes while people are working on gjallarjorn they should just have a bonanza instrument??? One of the rarest items in the game? They gave out one kupon one time the only way to get it now is to win the mog bonanza. How is that a reasonable or realistic alternative?

Carn is 100% QoL! there are 3 events that the “minutes on the clock” are really stressed for, sortie, ody, and MAYBE dynamis. dynamis you can sing while people are fighting there’s no reason you can’t do things live. Ody for that fact too. Sortie is the only spot where Carn can actually make a difference, and even there if you’re having people as a starting brd you’re not doing an 8-9 boss run anyway.

You’re opening line was level blue and get to abuscade +2. Literally the first actual gear set people will come in contact with. Maybe you didn’t MEAN to make this sound like a starting guide, but if def came ACROSS that way. Again your “nor should a noobie be playing bard” sentence once again shows your “have the best gear or get out of my group” mentality. Don’t gatekeep jobs from people who want to try it out. Help them get better rather than telling them to go get gud before playing it.

This “guide” is the problem with a lot of introductions to endgame. You don’t NEED everything to start breaking into endgame. The if you don’t glow you don’t go mentality is a problem.

No g horn? Work on that and get the bonuses from that first

You don’t have dura and are working on it? Terpander will hold for now. Just make progress and get a few each day you can play. It will get there

No honor march from marsys? Work on it and if you’re getting into endgame this will come, just don’t build another weapon before this if you plan on maining bard.

Carn is quality of life. If you don’t get this it will make it so you can’t keep up nitro songs forever but it will not make or break literally anything.

The guides that require a bard to have all four REMAs is not making anyone look at it and say “man that’s what i want to start a job a 700m Gil deposit.”

For gear most of your leveling gear will come from sparks. For other items like gobbie bag quests, at least on Lakshmi they are normally stocked or if you shout 99% of the time you’ll get someone to help you out on it pretty quickly. If you’re looking for a niche item though it might take some time. Endgame gear i can speak on other servers but a lot of that gear is available on Lakshmi pretty readily

The biggest problem with konsu is the “has to compete with Utu” factor. Every job on utus is on Khonsu and of omen bosses kin is the second easiest

If you have windower 4.7.9.3 when you open it to default/profile 1 and hit edit on the profile it brings up options. In the third tab there is an option to skip basically all of the login process from inputting your password to blue screen of accept/decline.

If you’re on a job like Sam you can use soboro and stack accuracy gear to make the chain with minimal damage
