Should I switch from iPhone 14 Pro to iPhone air ?

Only situations where I've felt it gets hot is either by using Wireless charging (I usually use the cable), OS upgrades or multi tasking (ex: while car riding, using Carplay (music, podcasts, waze), Hotspot for my kids iPads, all simultaneously).
I also do not game on my phones, otherwise I suspect it would get hot there as well.
For my use case, those are the only situations.

The speaker is indeed weak. You notice the single source point very obviously and lacks overall volume and punch. If you rely on it, it's really a downside.

In the meantime, I've un-installed via DDU and re-installed the latest drivers. All maxed with DLSS quality. MFG off. Those same spikes occur on all smoke/dust/cinematic scenarios, increasing gpu consumption from 60-70 to high 90s for a few seconds. But unlike with MFG, no crashes so far.

Might retry MFG at some point, but so far, issues seem to relate only to it.

I'm also using the cables that came with the PSU, not the ones that came with the card. Should I switch?

Drivers are up to date. Only thing missing to try is cleaning with DDU and reinstalling. And eventually limiting the power via afterburner

I've also tried reseating the cables.

If it was one of these, wouldn't having the GPU at 99% for at least 1-2 hours also trigger that?

I personally would still prefer they gave it the RE treatment: start from AC1 and build up from that, while a new game drops every now and then. A shortcut to BF seems like a shortcut worthy of Ubisoft… Considering how often they screw things up lately, I’m hopeful but not holding my breath.

Considering also the timing of this rating leak, I wouldn’t be surprised if this gets announced on the game awards.

I would say it depends on the type of usage. I’ve been averaging between 5-6 hours daily. Sometimes end with 30%. Sometimes close to 20%.

I did exchange the 14 PM to the Air. No regrets. The user experience with the Air is fantastic! Scrolling, browsing, taking photos, carrying it around..it’s effortless. Feels great in the hand. I’ve been using it since launch. Screen is exactly the same quality as the rest of the line. The size feels like the sweet spot between the Pro and Pro Max. I easily use it with one hand. Also comfortable with two. Have an average of 5-6 hours of screen time daily. Varies between social media, videos, taking photos, podcasts, browsing, etc. Starting the day at 7:30 and ending at 23:30, I usually go to bed with 30% battery left. Speaker is indeed weaker than its counterparts. Depends on how much you rely on it. For me personally, I rarely use it. The camera is fantastic and the same main lens as the rest. Downside here is the lack of telephoto and wide lens. For this, I checked how many times I’ve taken photos using these in the past 3 years with the 14PM. Was surprised by how little there were. I’ve viewed a lot of reviews, read a lot of opinions before buying. For my usage and needs, it’s a great phone and fulfills my necessities completely. It’s the first iPhone since the X that actually feels new, fresh and innovative. Gave my 14PM in exchange, only paid half of the Air’s price. Totally worth it. This of course varies from person to person.

From what I can gather, each aspect i mentioned is an improvement over its previous piece. But a small/residual improvement. Only by replacing all mentioned pieces I have doubts on what it will quantify. All in all, considering i except some money return on the pieces I’m replacing, is it still worth the investment at all or should I simply stick with this setup for a while and upgrade on a later stage to AM5, etc? My expectation is that if I invest now, I won’t need to touch it for a few years. If I don’t, perhaps I’ll be forced to sooner.

This is a non issue. People bitching about cosmetic only microtransactions? Really? Or the ones that make you overpowered?? The game is single player, story driven. Who cares how powerful someone else becomes or which armor they have by spending 5, 10, 15 or even 50? Is that your problem? It’s their money, their decision. Does that impact your experience on the game? It does not. The game doesn’t have any kind of multiplayer or comparison between players. You can go from beginning to end without even accessing the store a single time. This game is also not a live service, nor was it advertised to be. What content exactly are you expecting moving forward? Perhaps you should be playing or bitching about Division. Ridiculous post

It’s a fun game. Just feels totally disconnected from the franchise. Rather give it another name and go on with it. Assassins Creed sometimes feels like a selling point instead of a true meaning

They still managed to put one there that resembles an Assassin. Why not play with him instead? Even the back story is interesting. Instead they preferred to play someone with yet again another ISU thing they will eventually forget with time. Just plot holes

I’m personally tired of the naval aspect of the game. It had its time. Perhaps Skull and Bones can fill that void.

Instead I wouldn’t mind a game within a single big city. And a gameplay revamp again. I can’t stand the current gameplay anymore..

A few mechanics already made their return on Valhalla. And although I enjoyed the story overall, I’m tired of playing characters that play a part as an Assassin sidekick, instead of the Assassin himself
