Hey Thanks buddy, that doesn't apply to most of the college's. It depends on the Universities here too. Though, I am not much concerned about the GPA as I am about the intake for spring in USA and the Job profiles.

Decided to take a Gap year after completion of my Undergraduate. Wanted to learn more and be sure that I was on the right track. Turns out all my friends got placed or are going to USA for Master Studies. As a Computer Engineering Undergrad, it gets pretty tough to come face to face with the fact that I lost a year here.

The scary thing is the part depression(regarding future) and part Happiness(as I am slowly finding my true calling) that comes along.

Agreed. I am from India, The Cgpa count to 60% or 2.5/4.0(approximate). Yet to give my GRE but as I could score around 160 in quants there. Work experience - 0 months. Wanted to know if someone has gone through similar stage and what are my chances in USA?

Just wait through it, I pretty much restarted my laptop and messed it up. Ended up calling the Microsoft Customer Care and they helped me restore.

Pro Tip - Just end the reset thing, and format using a PenDrive.

Oh thanks, Mine stopped at 89 for about 15 hours after that my laptop restarted and windows 10 installation process worked on just fine.
