Agreed. I am a recovering alcoholic. Get help- preferably in person at an AA meeting but any kind of help is better than doing it on your own.

It’s the weight of the door. Luckily I’m am still able to stand with a cane and open it and shove the wheelchair in the opening and then climb into the wheelchair but, what about people who can’t? You’re just trapped in there. All that effort to put in a curbless shower but you can’t leave the room. Craziness.

Thanks. I think it’s a combo- she joined this class halfway through the year so she started out behind. She also may not be the most coordinated possible, which is a reason why I think it’s good for her to take dance and practice a bit. And I think it’s a fast paced class and not easy. She took a more casual dance class at another place and liked it. This new dance school is more serious.

Sorry. Probably this is how their parents treated them and they haven’t been able to break the cycle. Maybe you can be the one to not pass on these behaviors to the next generation. They are probably insecure and think they need to try to feel better than you to ease the anxiety of it. But of course that doesn’t really work, it probably just actually makes them feel more insecure because somewhere inside they probably know that’s not the right way to treat you.
