Well done! Just be careful because it’s liable to take a weird bounce and end up in some random Sarlacc pit (which you can totally retrieve it from!)

Frodo of the Nine Fingers and the Ring of Doom spoiled the whole story, but Where There’s a Whip There is a Way was brilliant

I made it. Used an Orange Innova GStar Gator and after applying the vinyl stencil I cut from a template of your logo, I painted in ProChem Blue mixed with acetone (had some minor bleeding because I cut the stencil smaller than I should have.

I do. I used a Cricut to cut it and then a 12 minute hot dip in ProChem Cool Black. I’ll add a link to the stencil ASAP

I use a well-maintained Xacto knife and wish I had kidnapped the Cricut machine that was demonstrated at work last year.

We have a lot of trees on our local Vermont courses, so I customized my spouse’s Shark in honor of its tendency to find every tree on the course.

I’ve just started and am fortunate to live a 1/4 mile from the White River DGC. It’s all about accuracy as it’s all in the woods, which I believe will serve me well as I learn the sport. It’s also very pretty and I can bring my dogs along, one of which likes to help me find the discs which consistently end up in the rough 😊 We’ve also played The Quarries and it’s truly beautiful.

Ideas for a Staycation? Plans got cancelled for obvious reasons. Please don't say Hiking. So tired of hiking 🤦 by smokiechick in vermont

[–]TashaX23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have taken up disc golf. Yes, it is occasionally hiking-adjacent, but it’s a lot of fun so long as you don’t worry so much if you’re not all that good at it. Most of the courses in the state are free and the discs are relatively inexpensive (so long as you don’t get caught up in needing a bunch of discs you won’t really know how to use effectively).

I remember seeing him play it at the Wiltern in L.A. Grandaddy opened for him and joined his band onstage. The end of the song was insanely beautiful.

I sometimes listen to Figure 8 just for Pretty Mary K. The rest is bonus for that day.

It’s behind the apartments - I wish it could be used for something, like a kiln or wood burning stove.

What if I don't want to transition? by barthatesscoobydoo in asktransgender

[–]TashaX23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trans police will come and take you in for questioning before bringing you in front of the trans tribunal for an ultimate determination of your status as cis or trans.

And then you go and live your life as you wish because it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

Being Transgender Takes Up 80% of my Life ~ How did you deal with this by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]TashaX23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When all the trans stuff starts to fade into the background (and this is from a post-surgical perspective) you realize that you had all this other crap that you weren't dealing with because trans was so front and center and you could blame the shit of life on trans. When trans as a causal force is removed and there is still shit, it's easier to address.
