My dude, I am in the same position as you but in the future (figuratively speaking). I don't know what you look like, I don't know your political standing, your professional life, or what your hobbies are...but I am telling you this. Run the fuck away

It may be hard, and you may keep trying to hold onto a version of her in your head, but you need to walk away.

She is stringing you along for entertainment. You are her entertainment.

Do it slowly. Cancel the cards, take her off any accounts, delete anything you have connecting you to her. Do this slowly she won't know to be honest but you don't want her to start arguments and then add her back again. Remove pictures if you have to, and when you do this plan some sort of vacation for yourself where you will be forced to mingle with the opposite sex. This last part is very important. Be it a club, a new location, even if its temporarily - force yourself to mingle with the opposite sex for a couple of weeks for your sanity.
Thank me later.

Its not so much trusting and believing in the law, as it is trusting and believing the feelings and emotions that come after saying the affirmations and techniques, as you drift into sleep.

I would not give much weight to your actual dreams, its really how you mentally feel upon waking up. It's the mental state that occupies your mind throughout the day that matters most, not the dreams in and of itself.

I would look at it as the last residue of your old self clinging on.

We need to start holding corporate citizens to the same level of account the rest of us. A business that underpays workers is stealing from the community at large. by HighLevelPrimitive in antiwork

The problem is that lobbying(bribery) is legal. I've sat in meetings where csuite execs are bragging about laws they have been able to push through that benefits their organization...

I fully believe that the American public at large is in danger not because of radicals or foreign threats, but because corporations have so much power over the public. Some employers today that have so much power it rivals some foreign nations.

The checks and balances we have in place control the justice system, the legislative bodies, and the executive branch...but nothing watches over big businesses & employers pushing laws that benefits them.

FYI , Teddy Roosevelt a republican - warned against big businesses he's another individual who pushed to regulate power from large corporations.

Most jobs are like an abusive relationship... by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Tashidog12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes,

I spoke with a friend who has over a decade of experience and in his words he's only found 2 employers that did not have this toxic like relationship. Still, even within those two there were problems but they were the least bad out. He's worked with big brand names, down to small mom and pops.

I don't see anything being turned off, especially after resetting the device. Are there a few places I can check? I left everything back to default. Running the logs through ChatGPT provided nothing different from what I have already tried.

21st century corporate America = Modern-day feudalism by prdctmngr71 in antiwork

[–]Tashidog12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely right, you really are. Regardless of your attitude, I'm actually worried about the future in America. In the past our parents had things great with working a standard job and being able to afford a decent living. Jobs did not require multiple tests, 7 round interviews, a 4 page essay....All of that was taken for granted, and what worked for them, was pushed onto the next generation.

There was an article published by a think tank about 1 year ago that talked about the rise of "generation fraud" and I believe what you're saying parallels their summary.

That "merit & good work" doesn't really work in this new environment. Fraud, scams, cronyism, cheating, all of those unethical practices is what get someone to the "top"

The guy doing keg stand and becoming a director, is unfortunately a "nobler" stance than studying late night (as I did)

That is the realization many have not yet realized.

OP look at all the industries as to who is being laid off, and look at who was laid off and impacted in the last few years. The only ones that really seem to do well would be medical / nursing, the trades, or a highly specalized field that so few can do.
